not true. in the past years she has been the face of givenchy, fendi, calvin klein, chloé, and so much more. she's just been out for a while now, it's almost natural for models after a few years to slow their bookings.

Eva Mendes becomes the face of CK scent
As the whole industry ascends on the damp streets of New York, Calvin Klein announced that, the actress who recently visited rehab, one Miss Eva Mendes would become the face of the brands new scent.
Tom Murray of Calvin Klein Inc commented: “Eva exudes an effortless and unpretentious sensuality, which is perfectly in line with the Calvin Klein brand DNA”. The stunning actress follows Christy Turlington and Scarlett Johansson as the face of the labels perfume. However, the name and scent of the new perfume is still underwraps.
While on the runways in the Big Apple a trend was emerging, an edgy, tight fitting rock chick trend. Rock ‘n’ Republic took edgy a bit too literally by straping toy guns to their models waist, however designers like Max Aziar shined with his bandage dresses which wowed onlookers in the form of Joss Stone, Mandy Moore and Sophia Bush.
