S/S 2009 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

Wow, I had no idea Hilary could do fragrances for other campaigns. Yay for her  and thanks for posting the info, Kinfarlie :flower:. As for Raquel, I love seeing models rise above trends and remain perennial favourites for years. Save the disposable wannabies for disposable labels ;).

I hope this doesn't mean that Hilary is done with Estee Lauder...

^I do but I dont at the same time. And I think she might be. As far as I know cosmetic labels dont allow their models to represent any other form of cosmetics until the termintaion of their contract.
I cant wait to see it! Hilary's gonna make the perfume smell good.

& how many models since Kate Moss have been hailed as the next Kate Moss?

mmmm and kate moss was hailed as the next twiggy....
cindy crawford was the next Gia carangi and Naomi campbell was the next Beverly Johnson... sasha was baby gemma

i suppose a model is always the next "someone' until they forge their own identity... and most never get that far......

while it sounds like fun, it's implausible.

December is for Cruise and final holiday ads, cramming as much in as possible to get people to buy buy buy for Christmas.

I was kidding, it's clear that December is about winter, holidays, stuff like that... But you know, it was just funny that the first reply said March, the second mentioned February, and even January has been told.

But speaking of Cruise... Can someone explain to me what actually Cruise is and what its purpose? Moreover, Cruise and Resort is the same thing or not?
I've been meaning to ask it, but know that you mentioned...

this was posted on the times online about the supers:

Kate Moss: The resurgence of her career post scandal is still in full swing. She is confirmed for five new campaigns for the new year. Similarly, her clothing range with Topshop has already sold out in the UK and has just launched in the Far East, and will help launch the flagship US Topshop.
there are only 2 in the list on page 1...maybe they are including rimmel, which still means 2 are missing...

^I agree too. She'll always be my all-time favourite from that group.

generally speaking there are 2 main seasons for ad campaigns, fall and spring which run for the longest periods of time, and then there are 2 shorter seasons, pre-fall and cruise/resort. for ad campaigns, fall and spring are usually more important/prestigious, although pre-spring and cruise/resort are very important from a retail perspective.

^I dont. I love Versace and I love Kate, but they've never really produced anything amazing before, except maybe F/W 06. That campaign rocked

I'm excited to see what campaigns Kate has :brows:

Kate + Avedon + Versace was pretty amazing.

I thought her contract to Rimmel ended.

She will probably repeat Longchamp again.
