Sacai F/W 2019.20 Paris

And the best look of the collection is the third. A simple long silhouette that showcase shape & fabrics.
The over-layering is too much to take with Sacai.
Her clothes stand out in the shops. You see the piece, you’re pleased with the craftsmanship and all.
She needs to find the formula for her shows because they somehow always blends with each other.

i wish there were more pretty looks .. the one on kris is the only one i like really :(

I'll never understand this line, it's always been so bulky to me. But every major department store and retailer seemingly carries it, so it must sell?

I agree with you all but I just love what Chitose does. To me her collections always feel like something worked and with a commitment to/love of fashion at its core.

Some amazing coats towards the end (as only she can do), and I love the references she made to Ralph here. Less ostentatious and more digestible than last year's collections IMO.

i love it. adore it. want so much of it.
and not just the clothes, which are playful, and intricate, and absolutely her signature.
but i really want some sunglasses and and those multicoloured boots!

I just love how rich and complex it is. It takes time to process and that's what I like about it. You can't just watch it once and remember everything. It's consistent and tricky. I'm not fond of the graffiti pieces and the puffed skirts though. Otherwise, there's a lot of things I would wear. Her vision is crystal clear and you could tell it's a Sacai piece by the time you see it. It's a good collection.

I am rarely a fan of the shows but I can always find things I'd love to buy when they hit the stores. The craftsmanship is great and I'd own pretty much every jacket.

I actually found this a lot less convoluted than her previous collections. It must be due to the monochromatic palette and the lack of clashing prints she usually offered. As far as deconstructed utilitarian items go, her proposition is a lot stronger than Galliano’s at Margiela this season.

I loved her simpler shows a couple years ago and this show is a return to restraint. Her craftmanship and love of patterning is so needed in this times of soulless sweatshirts and celebrity branding.

NO LACE---!!! yay!!
thank you!

I love everything she does except when she starts slapping lace all over the place...

she is so good at coats!
also especially fond of the knitwear cause that is where her roots are...
I'm sold on the long combo sweater puffer coat in look 7...

and I love when she does that sort of trapeze peplum thing...
look 36 almost makes me weepy, I love it so much...
