Sarah Burton - Designer, Creative Director of Givenchy

Is Sarah is going to make 1952 reproductions for her debut collection?? Sounds lazy and uninteresting as hell.
i don't know if she is capable of only reproducing dressess. She was always forward thinking and always added things to make them their own.

We will see.

Hope they have decided to join the mens calendar next time

Anna Wintour has been wearing SB for Givenchy a few times recently without telling anyone. Reported by the NewYork Times

The coat she wore to the 2024 British Fashion awards is reportedly Givenchy and the Look she wore to the LOUVRE gala last night is also SB for Givenchy, which looks like its based on the FW1997 McQueen Givenchy Couture she wore to his Funeral.

The Red dress has the exact same shape and belt construction so its seeming Givenchy too.

they are really pushing for givenchy couture... i can't wait for couture season..

Her debut seems like its gonna be a continuation of her mcqueen but this time unapologetically feminine and delicate.

I am so happy she has the freedom and balls to do a women only show!
Unlike Gucci, Lanvin, BV, Burberry, Versace (the list goes on) to save money...
Umm, do they need a menswear show though?
The only things that were selling were the basic logo stuff and the hypebeast offering from Tisci and Matthew. You don't need a runway show for Givenchy logo sweaters and basic sneakers.
Sarah Mcqueen's menswear was super strong though, their jacket were staples in terms of fit and design, I hope she will push that also at Givenchy.

Anna Wintour is not a good ambassador for Givenchy by Sarah Burton in those looks, especially the floral embroidered coat and dress. On her it looks like something a member of the Saudi Royal Family would wear to a wedding. It's very dowdy and giving Saudi-Arabia-Mother-of-the-Bride vibes. It doesn't look chic or interesting at all.
