But you can really see that kind of boys in the streets of Helsinki non-stop. They're everywhere

I don't live in Helsinki, that's why I was so surprised as well. I thought he was the exact same guy, but when I got home and looked at that pic, I saw that the guy I saw had a leopard coat, not a leopard jacket like this guy (and wore tights, not jeans) - but a part from that the exact imitation, same hair - everything!!

Filippa - yes, those are Bianco shoes. Was thinking of buying them myself, but went for a pair of boots instead. Maybe I'll go back and get them later if they're still there.. Yes, seems we have somewhat similar taste!!

Seriously? Thats so funny. I dated him a little bit when he was in copenhagen for a month in 2002, and I got asked to be on the danish fab 5! I dont understand why he said yes though, I just laughed my socks off when they asked me. Its such an awful show...

"I like military style and old time femininity, from 30's to 50's. My jacket is a former military jacket from the Finnish Army. Underneath I'm wearing a dress shirt and braces. Shoes are from Morticia. I like them because they are graceful and comfortable. Skirt is pure 50's. I wear colourful clothes, too, for example 50's dresses. My obsession is writing."

Personally I'm sick and tired of most of the Hel-Looks styles. All this glam rock, gothinc loita and activist (can't think of a better word) style is everywhere in Helsinki. It's not unique when 60 % of the youth population dresses the same. A great example are these north-african/muslim scarves. Everytime you're in town you see AT LEAST ten people wearing one. And also all these wannabe Harajuku girls. It's not their own style. They've just copied Japanese street style. They even copy the way they stand. How inventive is that?! BLAH. I find people who can dress truly uniquely much more interesting, like:

It's funny no one seems to have posted her--I wonder what that means about my taste I think I remember on the website she says she buys clothing from the children's department and her dancing shoes are from when she was young.

I also have a friend in Finland who has an interesting style, so I'll ask her if she can give me some photos. She also meets this kind of people
