Schiaparelli Haute Couture S/S 2014 Paris

There are some really cool pieces in this collection (the light blue piece with golden embellishments and gilded mini? swooning over here), but it's not very cohesive and those puffy sleeves should have stayed at the 80s debutant ball where they came from.

I like some of it but some garments look really theatrical and kinda costume-like... the embroideries look slightly awkward on the pieces

Feels like a tired Galliano (but I don't mean that in a bad way). A lot of very beautiful looks like Aymeline's, Jessica's, and the one with the gorgeous pale blue coat!

The clothes are nice, casting is interesting, and overall, it's a beautiful show!

the cast is great... it's good to see some character behind these outfits... you can see models are carrying them and not just wearing... I am not sure I like the collection though...

Irrelevant + Ulgy. This was so unnecessary. Marco is talentless.

I think it's a great collection. With enough drama, humor, classic feminine pieces. Absolutely adore this!

Here in this show I finally see something that looks fresh... not new, but fresh. It somehow appears to have more depth than anything I've seen in a very long time.

I hope this will last, because it's a very promising start, and not just for the label but also for modern day Haute Couture... along Vionnet, Dior and Bouchra.

And I have to agree the casting does a lot. So many great faces and characters.
