Schiaparelli S/S 2020 Paris | the Fashion Spot

Schiaparelli S/S 2020 Paris

I really didn't want to see this. This guy has no taste and the clothes feel pretty cheap. What's more, some pieces are too Balenciaga, like those looks with water print. As a whole I see this as a very basic take on Schiaparelli without any taste. It actually feels awkwards.

I find this a little hard to look at too , and have no idea who would wear these clothes

I think he needs to decide if he wants to be an artist or a fashion designer.

Like this would make a semi-interesting Art Basel installation but as a fashion proposition, we really don't need any more of this.

I think he is a horrible designer. Truly bad. And he has quite the ego to go with this garbage. I mean, his two collections so far are really, really ugly.

He thinks he’s really clever playing with bad taste, but I’m afraid the joke is on him...that he doesn’t have any taste of his own to speak of.

So pretentious and uninspired. I hate how cheap this looks, even through the lens of RTW this looks like bargin rate design. Everything is humorless, tacky, and offensively ugly.

There’s Dries/Lacroix this season for an ersatz of Schiaparelli...
We don’t need that...I don’t even mind because nobody is going to buy that.
