There are lots of looks here copied from John Galliano 1994-1996. He just mixed it with his golden gimmicks, a few archival concepts; and a horrible light.

Very meh, coming off from a strong couture this feels like a step backwards, very cheesy with all the polka dots and gimmicky trompe l’œil dresses. I can feel the lack of conviction running through each look.

The lighting is indeed awful, I can’t see much detail and I don’t think it flatters his already very limited color palette.

SS25 and SS24 were so much more refined than this, daniel what happened??? so many of the looks here are just uncohesive and plain. nothing made me jump out of my seat. only thing that i laid eyes upon for more than 30 seconds was the wet suit, and even that wasn’t out of this universe.

some of the looks even look a little cheap or rushed (lots of the dresses, especially the one alex was wearing). i see some of it on the red carpet, especially the semi opaque dresses considering its very trendy now .. but SS26 was a huge step back.

He's not good at color at all. He seems like he's afraid of it.

I’m afraid of his sense of color too.

Anyway I appreciate he is trying to do something new here instead of getting complacent and hitting the same sculptural tailoring with gold hardware note until it’s passé.

I can never see the clothes fully until they put up their post show edit on YouTube.
I did see that they used Aaliyah's "One In A Million" (1996) for the show soundtrack, so that was nice.
