COLOR ME BAD: Somewhere between "Spider-Man" russet and Versailles platinum, Kirsten Dunst's hair evidently has been left the worse for wear, as Vogue recently learned when they tried to shoot the actress for an upcoming cover.
Dunst, who went white blonde for "Marie Antoinette" and red for "Spider-Man 3," was scheduled to appear on the cover of Vogue to promote the new Sofia Coppola biopic. Annie Leibovitz shot the actress for the cover, according to sources close to the photographer. However, the initial photographs were said to be subpar in the eyes of Vogue editors, owing to a botched attempt to return Dunst to a more natural shade of blonde after she finished shooting both films. Leibovitz was apparently sent to shoot a second cover try last week, once Dunst's fried mane was remedied.
Parisian color wizard Christophe Robin, who worked with Dunst on "Marie Antoinette" but who said he has not touched her hair in about a year, had warned the actress about triple-processing. Robin told WWD that he shied away from utterly stripping her hair to achieve her white blonde tresses for the movie. "You can't just change your color the way you change your jacket," he said.
A spokesman for Vogue said the magazine does not comment on future editorial content. Representatives for Dunst and Leibovitz did not return calls for comment. Vogue, like WWD, is owned by Condé Nast Publications.

The list of covers include Vibe, Giant, W, FHM, Jezebel, OK, Ebony, King, Sophisticates Black Hair, Movieline/Hollywood Life, Hype Hair, Men's Fitness, Unleashed, Upscale, 944, In Touch and Out Magazine.
L.A Gant i totally agree with you i dont wont her on any fashion magazines either and i hope she dosent make it and i would add Jessica Simpson to the list!L.A.Gant said:I really hope that does not mean Janet will be on the cover on any upcoming W issues, especially September.... I like her but not on the cover of any of my fav fashion mags - however a cool feature would be interesting.
