Well, I don´t know if the exposure she´s getting now is making her uncomfortable in front of the camera or the photographers/stylists she´s been working with lately don´t know what to do with her but the Shailene from 2 or 3 years ago was a way better model...

So I´m looking through this thread and noticed that back in January 2013 she was supossed to be Mary Jane Watson in Amazing Spiderman 2... seems like they changed the script cause she´s not in the movie but they already had a bunch scenes filmed and all I´ve completly forgotten about it...
Doing a little research it seems that she was cut but supossed to appear in Amazing Spiderman 3 but now that the franchise has been nixed we´ll never see her as Mary Jane (at least alongside Andrew)

I was just thinking this earlier.. how much better she photographed back when The Descendants really put her on the map. She did some good editorial work for W, Interview, BlackBook, ASOS, Malibu and others. She also seemed to photograph much better at events and such and her styling (although often not perfect), was miles ahead of where it is now. I can't put my finger on what has changed, maybe some of it is due to her shorter hair, which it now seems (hopefully) she is growing out again.

The hair + the styling that matches her personality much more than the last ones are probably the reason. I forgot how long and beautiful her hair was back then, it really suits her much better

Oh God, the hair, the pants. No, this is like fashion schizophrenia. Her stylist should be sacked. It's like they're desperately trying to make her seem more 'cool or hip'.

I just wish her publicity team would get this message! That said, nowadays the pressure for actresses to have a prominent fashion presence is much higher than before. Especially when you look at her peers like Jennifer Lawrence or Emma Stone, even younger ones like Hailee Steinfeld and Elle Fanning.

Her hair looks bob length now. I'm glad it is longer again. The short hair didn't suit her in my opinion.
