I noticed this trend as well and I don't particularly like it although Chloe executes them well. It works well on the runway, but it may be difficult to pull off on the streets...it can even look tacky if not worn properly or tastefully.

Ah yes they were everywhere. ! Lovely,
At first I wasn't a fan, I didn't take me that long to become one though ^_^

how would you girls wear this???
I'm kind of interested...
because honestly i don't know...
except @ Prada most of the styling is bad, imo...I think it's interesting because soft...and simple...@ Prada
most of the others are worn with skirts or dress or long coat... and it looks odd for my eyes...

I don't think it looks that odd actually :p especially not at Richard Nicoll in the first pic. I guess it's because the layering there doesn't look that heavy..
But I'm thinking a pair of opaque tights under in a slightly different color, perhaps grey under black or the other way around. or navy and black might be the way to go...
I think it might look good if the sheer pants are ankle length..

^this one is very beautiful!!!
and this one needn't any tights...
very beautiful and in a way erotic!

I thought this was one of the worse looks at Miu Miu :ninja: I really can't visualize this being worn in real life, even as separate peieces. Sheer pants in general seem like loose leggings to me and I'm not really keen on seeing that being rejuvenated again. But that's my 2 cents.

I agree, berlin. it's my favorite interpretation of this trend so far
the material and the colours.. they're too hard to resist. and the blouse is very nice too.. both separately, of course...

while I don't mind the ones in Toni Maticevskiso much, I'm still a little reluctant to jump on as a fan.

^yeah I think the Toni Maticevskiso is great as well, and a guess a bit more wearable then the rest, due to that they are a bit looser..

And yes to the miu miu ones  the colors combination, print and the fact that they aren't rolled up (normally I do like rolled up legs, but I'm just not a fan when it's done on sheer pants, at least I have yet to see it done in a nice way) makes me drool. !

louis vuitton also had sheer pants in the collection, not the best though...

A horrible trend, IMO.

I love opaque, stretchy leggings, but not these hideous, baggy monstrosities! Remind me of used condoms, for some reason!

I think they were particularly horrible at Chloe, with those deep, visible seams and less obnoxious at Prada (particularly in the darker, richer, Biba/glam-rock colours), as they were flared (and so, less condom-like).
