Does anyone know how Azzedine Alaia shoes run? I'm planning on getting boots..

I don't know about boots..but I'm a 36 or 36.5 in Alaia FLATS (tight at first but they stretch if they're leather) and I'm normally a 37.5
Alaia, are like McQueen in that they run about a size bigger but they are more narrow than McQueen's imo.

Junya Watanabe and Undercover both use this infuriating XS, S, M, L sizing for shoes, which I have yet to comprehend... Would anyone happen to know what would correspond to an Italian 37-37.5 (US 7-7.5)?

i would try a medium for 37.5/38 (not sure what to do for 37/37.5) but since each season brings different fit challenges you would be best to call the CdG store and ask.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of - I've tried Junya's shoes on in the past, and I seem to remember being a different size every time. I guess there's no silver bullet. Thanks, luckyme.

hey girls, I have a question

I live in Europe and have a size EU 40

now I've ordered shoes online and a friend whom I know lives in the US and told me the correct size was a US 9 for me

I got the shoes and they were too small, but now I don't know whether I should go for US 9,5 or US 10?

these sizes are really confusing and every size chart I google gives me a different opinion varrying from 8,5 to 10

help would be appreciated

technically u are both sizes.

if the shoes are open toes then u want to go with a 9.5

if the shoes are closed toed I'd go with a 10. are u ordering the SAME shoes? or a totally different pair? if you are ordering the same think of it this way.

if your feet can fit BUT the toes are way too crunched then go with a 9.5. if your feet don't fit period then go with a 10.

my feet fit in the US 9 shoes but my toes are scrunched and my middle foot doesn't touch the shoe (it stands up a bit), so I guess 9,5 then?

yes I'd definitely just size half size up.

because they do fit but u just can't walk in them right? (they are way too tight)

and then, if anything u can have them "stretched" at a cobbler.

oh hun, a VERY easy method I can recommed is you go to any nike/adidas store, get ur size and see what's the conversion on the american

that should be a VERY good estimate


and if it helps, I am a 36 ALWAYS as I'm ALWAYS a 6

i can do 5.5 on open toes (I have very thin feet) and I can also do 6.5 on boots (to wear with thick socks)

but the general rule for me is 36.

Absolutely true unless on me, I do run normally a 42 and with Dsquared I do 40 or 41 depending the model. Love from Spain

I bought 2 pairs and returned both of them...
they are really tight even if the lenght is good (maybe a 1/2 size taller)
I tried flats and heeled pumps and it was the same sizing for both style.
