Shoes: yay or nay? #1

I'm buying the shoes. I need your help deciding on the color. Should I get dark brown or polo tan? I was thinking brown but a friend thought tan would look elongating.

I'm on the fence over those. Personally, I'm not a polka dot sort of person, but on the right person they could look nice. Just depends on your style and wardrobe, I suppose.
