Shoes: yay or nay? #1

So Olga., you come along with some riding boots. I must say that I'm sorry that your dog ate your snow boots from Tommy Hilfiger. In my estimation (by the way, I'd never wear snow boots unless it's really cold or snowing). Now for those riding boots in Post #9,377...

Someone mentioned they look too manly. If you ask me, I'd Yay! these boots because while simple, you could do a nice job wearing these boots in many different ways. The riding boot is hot nowadays. High-heel boots and stuff are giving way to riding boots. And really, I would go for these simplistic riding boots. Look into your closet and wear these riding boots with style and confidence.

i would also never wear snow boots. unfortunately i live in poland, very close to mountains. which makes the weather unbearably cold.. like today was -2 degrees of celsius and its like.. november?

also. thank you for your yay. it means a lot to me, as i always count on your opinion when it comes to shoes in this thread.:flower:

Thing is... don't let my opinion (or anyone else for that matter) tell you otherwise. Just wear what you think fits you and that you want. We can influence, but don't just go on someone else's opinion or my opinion. Then again, I'm a bit like the Simon Cowell of judging fashions. Heh...

Anyhow, go get those boots if you like them. Glad our opinions were of good help to you.

Thanks luckyme. Will do!

Thoughts on these please? Same shoe, different colors... taupe and navy.

With the pumps in Post #9,390... I'm going to say Yay! If I were to choose, I'd go with the taupe pumps. The navy adds a touch of color, but adding navy with those champagne-colored toes isn't really to my liking. This, speaking as a guy whose favorite color is blue. I've seen black shoes with gold tips that were... iffy at best. I'm sure you'll find a nice way to dress up these pumps, so I'll leave it to you.

They're a yay to me.

WhitleyGilbert, nay to both. They look a little tacky to me. Sorry.

whitley: nay to those pumps. sorry but they look kinda tacky.

Nay not a pastel person and the heels look a little cheap. But if you like pastel they have a nice shape.

I agree that they have a nice shape. And though the colors are not something I would wear, they're kinda fun. So it's totally up to you in that respect.

Nay - the colors are nice for summer and the shape is nice, but I dont like the wood heel and platform.

i say yay if you're a pastel person :)

i like the shape and the sort of pattern that the colors are arranged in..
