Shoes: yay or nay? #1

My pleasure, miss LAMALONE. I'd probably prefer the bow at the front of the pumps, but it's still a nice shoe to me.

Lamalone, I have to say nay too, sorry. The bow on the side is irritating and something about the shape looks off to me.

I'm looking for a new dress shoe. It's for a suit.
Should I buy a cap toe, pointed toe etc.?
Are leather soles better?

Are any of these okay?
They are from Florsheim since they are the only ones I could afford.
What does Shoes, Shoes, Shoes recommend?

First or third.
First would probably be easiest to wear but the 3rd remind me of Mr.Men!!!

Yay! to all three dress shoes in Post #9,853. When I was part of my brother's wedding in 2007, one problem I've had was that I couldn't really wear a good pair of dress shoes unless I had some shoes with a heel. I'd go with the first shoe, only because that's the kind of dress shoe I'd wear.

R_R, I like the second. It has the cleanest lines and "strongest" look, and is the least traditional-looking, IMO.

If on the other hand you wish to look traditional and/or inoffensive, go with #3. ;)

hautechild - nay.
lamalone - nay, the bow looks off.
Romantic_Rebel - yay to the first or second pair. The first pair for a clean, classic look, and the second because it stood out to me! ;)

Thanks for all the replies...
I guess all of them are good design so I just need to try them on and see what is the most comfortable to wear.

Thanks again I appreciate it!

Dito!!!!!!!
I actually strongly dislike the first pair because of the heel!

BTW does anybody know if Burberry shoes are true to the size - I have some feeling they were a bit small?

I'll take your opinion in consideration. I think the first shoe is a bit feminine for a man.
Thanks!
