Shoes: yay or nay? #1

I wouldn't mind the blue trim but I don't like the overall shape (toe box and heel) so nay.

Nay! to those loafers (Post #9,995) por homme. I've never really liked gator shoes.

Really, those booties (Post #10,002) aren't that bad. It's best you wear these under some (don't let the skinny jean/pant crowd tell you otherwise) pants with voluminous legs. The shape and everything is perfectly fine with me, and the touch of sky blue isn't too much a deterrent. So I'm going to say Yay!, but your fashion options may be a bit limited with these. I'm not real sure how I would wear these if I were a femme. Take a chance with these.

Check, please. That's all from me. Dress confidently, even on Valentine's Day!

WhitleyGilbert - they would look really cute with skinny jeans, but I wouldn't recommend wearing them with tights.. that would look too weird because of the blue trim.
I say Yay

Red sole, Nay. It's just really not my style. I think they're quite ugly if you as me...especially when they are jelly? sorry!

Crying Diamonds, Nay. I like the shape, but the detailing reminds me of something the Gotti brothers would wear or some slick tacky guy. I would find it quite a turn off if I saw a guy wearing that.

Whitley, Nay. They boots should have been cut off nearer to the ankle but the rest of the shape is nice. They blue trim however ruins everything. Are these MJ's relatively cheap? Cause don't you think M by MJ has nicer boots?

hmm I guess all nay this time..

Stella M. (but in beige)

Trying to decide between the two...

You know, I'll admit that it's tougher for me to chat about multiple pairs of shoes rather than just one, especially when comparing the two. With the two shoes in Post #10,009, and with Valentine's Day, I'll let you know what my heart feels about those shoes.

First, the Yay or Nay.

The open-toe slingback oxford pumps are a Nay! Not real fond of oxfords, but I'm ESPECIALLY not fond of these. Even I remember some Keds-like sneakers from the mid-late 1990s that had open toes and a slingback design. Those oxfords remind me of those... only uglier. They'd make better proper sandals than an oxford. I may even change my mind if these were pumps. These chocolate brown oxfords give a sick taste to my stomach and eyes.

The sandals by Stella M. are a Nay! as well. These are like the thong sandals from Hell. If someone says those are cute, then someone needs to tell me where the "cute" is. Same goes for "sexy" in relation to these. I wouldn't even recommend these in black or white. And when that happens, you know the shoe is absolutely terrible.

Second, the recommendation.

If I had to choose between the two, I wouldn't pick either one. But if I forced to pick one, maybe the sandals. But both are fashionable fails. Terrible shoes.

Happy Valentine's to all!

The platforms on those booties in Post #10,011 have a nice platform to them. I'd say yay for these. However, they are a Nay! for one reason- all the accents around the tops of the boots and where the zipper is. If they were just above the ankles or to mid-calf, I might recommend these to be worn with bootcut or wide-leg jeans or even dress slacks. Unlike all the '80s heads, I'm okay with a little groovy '70s-ish fashion. However, all the stuf around the zipper and the top of the boot desecrates these as boots to take a chance with or have fun on "disco night."

I only dislike those boots for the accents and maybe the zipper as well. It's the only deal breaker to me. So, there are some other platform boots and booties that would be better than these, so keep shopping around!

educo - I'm also gonna say yay to those (they're McQueen from 07, correct?). They're pretty fierce, and having seen bits and pieces of your wardrobe I think you could definitely work those.

Educo, they are so you so yay from me! You can def. pull those off.

educo Yay from me

NutriGirl sorry but Nay I don't like them , they have terrible heels :(
