Shoes: yay or nay? #1

A pair of sandals, a pair of sneakers, and a pair of boots. Time to go to work.

* To be honest, I just don't like strappy flat or low-heel sandals. So I'm going to have to Nay! those sandals. Too much going on there for my tastes.

* I'm also going to have to Nay! the studded sneakers. They'd be okay if not for that big strap with the studs as well as the studs at the heel. But would it be plain jane if it were without the studs and that buckle? Probably, but I'm not feeling these. I'll have to fail both the sandals and sneakers.

Finally, from SoCal to Vancouver. I'm going to pass these ankle booties with a Yay! Lot of details on these, but the key is the lovely shape of these boots without being too outlandish-looking. Nice heel on those wedges. Finally some wedge booties that I like.

Of course... don't let my decisions tell you otherwise. Get what makes you happy. Dress with confidence!

pragma they are totally superb! they must look good with everything.. great purchase, congrats!

I don't know if i want them, they might be good summer wedges and ive heard they're comfy which is a plus, what do you think yay or nay?

pragma: Those are fierce, they deserve a yay!
simjessica1: That could look nice on a foot so I'll give a yay.

Time for a Texas guy to review some more shoes...

simjessica1, please post picture credits for the shoes you posted here. Upon further review, looks like these are some turquoise wedge pumps with a peep-toe design and T-strap accents. I'm going to say Yay! because of its overall style. The wedge design itself looks very nice. The T-strap design adds some cuteness to it. That peep-toe design sets you straight for warmer weather. So you have my word to go get these. Only recommendation is to maybe see if they're available in black or dark brown, just so they can be more versatile with your wardrobe. Either way, I still give them a yay.

Now on to the Alexander McQueen pumps (Post #10,230). I glanced across the Net-a-Porter website for these. And apparentely, these are so-called heart peep-toe pumps. These are Louboutin-style shoes for their colored soles, only these have a hot pink sole to them. Now I always talk about different-good and different-bad. This is a different-good pair of peep-toe pumps because of the heart-shaped opening up front. LAMALONE, these pumps are a Yay! I've got nothing but love for those heart peep-toe pumps. Or should I say... I <3 those pumps!

So that's it for this post. Two lovely shoes that are easy to my eyes. You have my word to get both respective pumps. Dress confidently and show some style!

YAY TO LAMALONE!!!

Yves Saint Laurent ?
pics ebay I am lacking in sandals and I really need some for the summer and I thought these were cute choices.

So you need some sandals for the Summer, from: sophia? Let me see if I can spur your interest.

Okay, I'll admit. I'm not the biggest Marc Jacobs fan. However, the straw sandals in the first picture are a Yay! Definitely manageable shoes. All the floral designs don't take away from these shoes. On top of that, I've never hated straw sandals. These are some nice wedge sandals that could serve you well. I don't know how warm it gets in Chicago when it's warm, but I'm sure you'll be well-dressed for the heat with these sandals.

On the other end of the spectrum... a romantic pair of Yves Saint Laurent sandals. I guess your first pick was something for casual wear while the YSL sandals are for showing some real style. If I may, those YSL sandals are YSL-ovely (YSL Lovely! Get it?)! I'm Yay-ing these too.

If I had to choose... I MAY fancy the YSL sandals, but I'd get both if I had the money. You'd have a lovely pair of wedge sandals for more casual times, then some chic sandals for more dressy outfits or semi-formal outfits. Or you could make the YSL sandals good for casual and formal/semi-formal outings. If that's true, I'd get both. But it's up to you. Either way, it's win-win.

Dress confidently and have a lovely weekend!
