Shoes: yay or nay? #1

Time to go to work.
LAMALONE, I found out those Yvez Saint Laurent sandals (Post #10,480) are called "Obi" and are platform sandal. I must say they are YSLovely! No way I'm failing these. That's a Yay! Great sandals to make a statement with. I always say... "make a statement without saying anything." That's the way to go!
Dress with confidence, ladies and gentlemen! Go fab or go home!

lamalone - absolutely yay!
my dilemma for a friday...at work, no less 
as much as i have utter distaste for the isabel marant runway boots these for some ungodly reason seem obscenely nice to me...really nice. i love the color and liking the idea of wearing a boot during the warmer months with cropped or rolled up pants. so am i off my rocker or what?B)

Looks like a boot and two sandals. Let's go.
The boots in Post #10.489... there's plenty of style while not being overly outlandish. I usually fancy ankle boots rather than any at mid-calf or just above the ankles. But with this boot, buckles and studs and all... Yay! I'd give those boots a chance.
That was easy. Now to share ideas for a fellow Texan...
There are two sandals in Post #10,490. Are you thinking of getting both, or just want a comparison? It's sometimes tougher doing "yay or nay" when you have more than one item. I am a fan of Steve Madden. The first sandal is called "TENDERR." It's beastly looking, but not too bad to where they look miserable. So I'm going to say Yay (very slightly)! There's never been a pair of sandals I fell in love with that has a toe ring to it. I'm okay with these as well. I say (moderately) Yay! I'd probably have to prefer the second sandals if this was "yay or nay and which one?" It's just me, but LAMALONE, I'd probably prefer the second sandal in black patent. Never really liked studded shoes in a color other than a black or a brown. Maybe white colors, but black or brown for me as far as studded shoes go.
So that's three yay's from me. I became a nice guy here. I've just never fallen in love with any of the three aforementioned shoes as much as I loved those delicious YSL platform sandals. Have a great Easter weekend and dress confidently!

there is something going on with ankle treatments that has me 
and i finally figured out what it is. everytime i go to yoox i check to see if these are still in my dreambox... ann d. pointy toe ankle wedges from spring 08, with the tie cuff...im sure these are sitting back in my mind toying with me...B)
nothing to do with the ones above but if you had to choose? these or the boots above?

I've never fallen in love with non-enclosed boots. So I'm going to have to Nay! those lace-up, backless boots. If it came down to those two... now you're asking me a tough one. More people are probably going to recommend the boots in Post #10,496. I'm not in love with either boot. I yay'ed the studded brown boots and just nay'ed the open-back, lace-up boots. Adding to how confusing a character I am on tFS, I'm going to recommend the open-back lace-up boots.

i like the ann d boots as well and can definitely imagine them in your wardrobe...
but i personally prefer the marant boots
