I'm visiting Providence, Rhode Island for a bit and I was wondering whether anyone could suggest fun places to shop. I'm especially interested in vintage/thrift stores. :flower:

Well, Providence Place is a large sized mall... but that might not be what you're looking for, it's pretty commercial.

I'll check it out, thanks. :flower: I am looking for less expensive stores because I'm on a budget, which I could probably find somewhere in there. Thrift stores can be great for inexpensive, fun shopping, hence my interest in them, but other suggestions are welcome.

there's a great shoe store (called Berks I think...) on the street where all the Brown students hang (It's accross from the Urban Outfitters if you need to find it)
There are some other funky stores in the student area...
