It doesn't matter whether I went to sleep with dry or wet hair, my hair stoods up. It is slightly irritating as I'd rather go for the classic look than punk look, but I can't get my hair to stay down. The thing that has helped is to wet it every morning and then blow-dry, but I am too lazy to do that every morning. Is there a hairproduct for this, a wax or something? And then they say short hair is easy!

If you haven't heard of them, they make free human-hair wigs for kids who need them. Your hairstylist has to first make a ponytail, chop it off, and then give you your new hairstyle. Processed hair is OK, all grey hair is not (partial is OK). They need hair of all ethnicities and colors.

I don't think it's that bad at all. I have no idea what your style is like, but you could play around with it, mess it up or flip the ends out for example.MUXU said:i asked my mom to trim my semi long hair yesterday...but she cut off a whole chunk instead. now i have this short hair that i hate...it looks ridiculous.

)and I enjoy it right now but I know eventually I'm going to want longer hair so I'm thinking of starting to grow it out since I know it will take a long time of in-between phases. Does anyone have suggestions of what to aim for next? Should I just stay out of the salon for a year or keep getitng trims? If I do get trims should I let the top grow to reach the length of the bottom/back and only trim the bottom/back? Or should I just let it all grow at the same time? I started with long dirty blonde hair a little over a year ago and then went here:
