Short, Stubby Heels

I am wearing stubby heels today, they are cream t-straps with an almond shaped toe with little triangle cut-outs and perforation.

I dont see this as a trend, just something that gets worn in vintage style. I think a lot of shoes in this style are really ugly, however this pair is one of my favorites...too bad my dog chewed up the backs of them

(oh well I still wear them as long as my pants cover up the chewed part  )

seriously...
you posted one boot...

ONE boot...
and the other is a vintage old lady shoe that ferragamo has been doing since forever...

so HOW is this a trend??...
you need far more evidence to call this anything remotely resembling a trend...

as far as i can see- it isn't...

the shoe trends for fall are ballet flats, ankle boots and platforms...
some wedges...and anything patent leather...

imo...

Personally I think this is a consequence of people buying vintage shoes, if it happens to bubble up from regular people to high fashion I think it can still qualify as a trend. I don't think you can just "say" what the shoe trends for fall will be and discredit anyone elses opinion, because things can always start in the street. I see people with short little chunky heels all the time, probably because vintage shoes often have those heels, but they are still choosing the shoes they are wearing and therefore the heel as well. Besides, I don't know since when people's observations had to be supported by pictures, you yourself started a "brown boots" thread with NO pictures.

I dont like them at all- I always think those thick stubby heels feel so disjointed from the actual shoes... it doesnt look elegant. Almost as though you decided to superglue some cube thing onto a pair of flat sandals imo

I must say, I absolutely do not like them. Chunky or not, yuck. Give 'em to me high, or give 'em to me flat.

I second. Some of the ugliest shoes I've seen on the runway.
