Show Packages Spring/Summer 2008

i can't wait too see img's, dna's and women's cards! i don't remeber what season it was but i fell in love with women's cards when they had illustrations of bones and different arteries along with the model's photos.

They really do get some great girls but they SERIOUSLY need to get some help with the graphic design- it is SOOO ghetto!

Image means so much in this industry, they really need to step up their marketing. I bet a graphic design student or someone looking to improve their portfolio would even help them.

That font....with the cheesy shadow.. I can't get over it.

I agree. VNY's cards aren't doing them any favors but that Brianne girl is stunning

nope :cry:Giedre has no visa as well :cry::cry:
Oh, poo. :(

Why exactly is it so hard to get a visa (I've never been to the US, and I'm clueless about these things)? And does it depend on which country you're from? Or how come most models don't seem to have any problems, just an unlucky few each season?

^ it's a real pity:(I don't know much about it, all I know it that you always have to wait longer to get one

Yea, like I can do better:innocent:

visa

There used to be lots of visas, but after 9/11 they were reduced (to keep out the terrorist-model types). Now it is done partly by lottery, since more people apply than there are spots.

I still can't believe that if a top NY agency really wants someone, they can't get the visa from their own government. That's not good business.

So if a girl waits until she finishes high school to move to the big apple, she may still be forced to wait a year or two.

How long are the visas good for? Three years?

Its really not a 'good business' thing. Don't you think if there was anything else to be done so that Noreen would have her visa for fashion week, nymm would have done it?
