This is a MAJOR downgrade from last year, YIKES. They really couldn’t get any better? At least there’s Missy. One of my personal favorite female rappers <3

Karol G has a huge Latin audience, though. Twice isn’t as big a Kpop group in comparison to the concept of inviting another Blackpink girl or having a Jump! moment, but they surely need the attention it brings to have one on again. And they have some Kpop classics under their belt (plus I know some soloist Nayeon + Jihyo stans), so I’ll take it!

Addison would’ve easily been a better [social media pop superstar] choice than Madison, but I do think the dance-infused pop route she’s been taking as of late is far more her sound than the TikTok viral sounds of hers we’ve probably heard in passing. I could totally hear Make You Mine on the runway.

@Jose Antonio Lat I also thought Sabrina was the most realistic shoo-in, she’s been wearing VS her entire Short n Sweet tour during her little towel outfit reveal moment, and just dropped another pure-pop album… Doja too, considering she did The Tour and has her own new album drop. Welp.

Victoria’s Secret is hosting open casting across America to be the next Angel, also walking the VSFS 2026.

At least it means the 2026 show is confirmed! As to the open casting, apparently they did this already in 2007 (Katie Wile), 2009 (Kyle Bissuti), and 2017 (One Wang). It feels sort of reality show-ish, but we will see.

Thats going to take up a sh*t ton of screen time. Would prefer more BTS. While good advertising (especially for a new generation) it’s such a lackluster winner. But the modeling contract does add a great layer. It would be great if they find their next Alessandra/Miranda/Candice where they (for lack of a better word given their Epstein ties) groom them and develop them into a bonafide modern supermodel. Just no Karen/Taylor/Olivias please.

As a brief follow up, I agree with the screen time being a limited resource. I kinda worry that it's one fewer spot for an "unknown" model that has already worked hard via runways / campaigns / ecom. But, I sort of understand if it's an influencer / spon con type, since VS is trying to get a wide audience.
