^ The packages are out, I believe castings have started already, so I guess it just depends on when MDC/COACD/NN feel like posting them. IMG usually upload the cards on their site, though... so any day now.

I noticed the absence of Anna Mikhaylik from Next's package. Also not the selection of new girls I expected....

Not the most appealing cards either, though I actually like the color combo.

I always like the cards at Next, these are a little different but cool. They are always high quality, good art direction.

Interesting that Helen (formerly of Supreme) is at Next now as well as Vera, who I remember was at IMG but didn't seem to do anything there. I have worked with both these girls and really liked them. Helen is super cool on film and Vera is beautiful and sweet, hope they have better luck at Next.

Ford, I agree, just ok. They have a lot of great new girls, though.

That exactly what I thought. I keep hoping that MDC just didn't post all of them, which they have had a habit of doing in the past. I'm wondering where the hell Megan Jones is?! I thought she was supposed to be one of their best bet's this season. Weird...

^ It's the full package. Anna Mikhaylik is listed as "coming soon" at her Tokyo agency, so she's not doing fashion week. Megan - perhaps they want to debut her in Europe - or maybe she's just busy with school, or being saved for next season for some other reason...

I agree, though, not the new faces I expected...

Show Packages SS 08: Supreme

It took three months to shoot, from June through to August. Each Supreme model from the stars like Suvi to the newcomers like Katerina was individually styled, made-up and coiffed and then painstakingly photographed by agency head Paul Rowland . Each show card image was meticulously printed on heavy card stock in both black and white and color, with 30 select 11″X 14″ images presented in a freestanding bundle. The entire proposition is presented in a massive black box bound with a black ribbon and that gives you a sense of the insane commitment to fashion brilliance that represents the Supreme show package for SS 08. Not only is this a collector’s item (only 350 will be in circulation), it has completely changed the show package game. Rest assured, virtually every Supreme girl now is logging most wanted status for those truly directional runways.

Show Packages SS 08: DNA Women

It’s a full on blue chip extravaganza at DNA models starting from A for Agyness all the way to Z for Zuzanna G and Zuzanna S. An all black and white affair with the text in gold, this package is an exercise in both restraint and extravagance. And extravagance is exactly what you’ll expect when it comes to the options on Maryna, fresh off the September Vogue Italia cover, catwalk queen Raquel and the freshly resurgent Snejana and Kim. You’ll be seeing these coveted girls at Marc and Anna and Calvin, and all those shows that telegraph the highest standards in NY runway selectivity.

Where are Elsa Sylvan and Johanna Jonsson??

I already knew that Johanna wasn't going, but I'm bummed about Elsa.

And am I the only one who likes the Supreme package? Some of the shots are rather unflattering, but I feel that's almost beside the point. The CDs know these girls anyway, they trust the Supreme brand, and they obviously have access to polaroids and other pics. For Supreme it's all about selling a cool image. And these cards are definitely doing that.

^That's exactly how I feel. I'm somewhat biased since I have a crush on that entire agency, but you said it well Saracita. I think the images themselves are captivating, albeit a little over-the-top in some instances. Its more that casual observers don't exactly get to see just how naturally beautiful those girls are behind the wig pieces and bleached out eyebrows. The thing is though that Supreme is absolutely a branded image, and is really the first agency to do such. Knowing that a girl is from Supreme is like the instant stamp of 'coolness' and producers, designers and casting directors know exactly what kind of girl lies beneath the styling. They're easily my favorite showcards so far.

and Diana Farkhullina? I guess we'll have to wait til Milan and Paris.

I love Supremes (as always heh). Particularly like the Daiane, Alice, Ania, and Pilar cards.

Oh no...no Elsa Sylvan? No Giedre? No Coryse?

I'm not fond on all the Supreme cards either. Some are nice though...I like Daiane's and Pilar's...but some girls are made really unattractive by the photography. I get the hype though...
