Oh my God.I cant believe how neat and clean you guys keep your makeup! I am too ashamed to show my messy makeup bags. Some of you still keep the origional boxes the products come in. I am a total slob! I have three makeup bags. One for everyday, really messy, one for special days fairly messy and an extra bag where I keep hardly used and doubles,not bad in the messy dept.

why_fashion: Actually yes But I used to mostly just go there for skincare product reviews. It seems their addiction bit me though. I don't own nearly as much as most of them though! At least not yet... what a scary thought!

jjbunny79: Awww, I really like your collection It contains all the essentials and a few colors to play around with. My collection is really toned down now that I'm at school... And the main reason I bough so much was because I worked at VS, and there's an employee discount there; the store right next to us was Sephora, and right across to VS was MAC. There was also an Ulta five minutes away... Working at the mall is really dangerous

Concealer 2 MAC (one for summer, one for winter), 1 Biotherm (fluid, for light coverage), YSL Touche Eclat (for highlighting purposes), 1 Guerlain, 1 Chanel (because it's pretty and it came with a concealer brush. The concealer itself is rubbish, though)
Blush etc Guerlain Les Meteorites (gold version), MAC blushcreme, MAC Beauty Powder
Highlighters The Body Shop Glow Enhancer, gold gel-thing from Lancaster (the name wore off)
Mascaras 2 Helena Rubinstein (brown and black)
Eyebrows Guerlain mascara, YSL Eyebrow Enhancer Duo
Other Retractable powder brush from Nilens Jord (I am very pleased with it, it was cheap too), eye lash curler from Matas and eyeshadow brush from H&M (needs to be replaced, its crap)

My updated makeup bag:
Foundation: Revlon colorstay active light in ivory, Colorstay oil/combo skin in ivory, Max Factor panstik in nude ivory
Concealer: revlon colorstay blemish concealer in fair, maybelline coverstick in ivory and in green, CG smoothers stick in neutralizer
Mascara: maybelline great lash in clear
Powder: maybelline shine free loose in Light, CG loose in Translucent fair, Sally Hansen pressed in Classic Translucent
Other: Almay pore minimzer makeup primer, Olay eye gel (not really makeup, but I only use it as a base for my under eye concealer when I wear makeup, so )

sure, MAC Studio Fix compact and liquid, Chanel Double Perfection and Armani Silk Powder Foundation (the coverage is just sklightly better than from a powder)

Yes. Though I somehow have thrown a few of them away. Right now I'm keeping my liquids put away for whenever, and using powders for daily wear.

whyfashion: i love how you support the Canadian economy by purchasing so many Canadian brands (LW, Annabelle, Marcelle). I think LW products are fabulous but a bit $$ for drugstore (though SDM isn't much of a drugstore now is it). It encourages me to start purchasing Canadian products because all 3 of those brands are excelleng for their price.

This thread has encouraged me to save up and buy some higher end products instead of tons of lower end. Of coursem, tehre are many drugstore products that are great (mascaras, glosses). But I totally regret buying all these eyeshadows that lack in pigmentation when i couldve just gotten 1 Dior palette w/ excellent quality. It's actually more worth it since I barely wear makeup except for going out on weekends. I guess that's what my current 'make up fasting' (no purchasing cosmetics for a few months) is for!
