update: got a pair of brown cowboy boots at value village today with a slight stacked heel for 7.99 CDN. They were priced at 19.99 and when I got to the till the girl was like oh these are priced wrong...they should be 7.99. They come up about mid-calf. Will post a pic later!

taylor, VV is like a giant thrift store. It's basically like the salvation army I suppose. It's where people drop off clothes they don't want anymore and then it gets resold. There is tons of crap but a couple of good stuff too. I took pics of the boots, am just waiting for my dad to come back inside (he's using the digicam) before I load...

Woo Hoo! I went thrifting today for the first time in 2 months (because I've been in the city for most of the summer) and the first thing I found was brown suede cowboy boots for $2! And my boots on Ebay are still @ $3! haha I'm a very happy (cow)girl.
