Personally I LOVE the trailer. I think its a wonderful wonderful modern take(I think that's what people are forgetting this truly is)on Edie and Sienna's acting proves that she can carry her weight flawlessly. The voice might not be there but her performance judging from this trailer looks more and more brilliant everytime I watch :/

For those of US who actually KNOW about Edie...we can already tell from the trailer Sienna is not doing her justice. She looks awful in this.

I think it's probably better to wait until the film is actually released before judging... plus, there have been people who actually knew Edie (not just "about" Edie) who said that they think she pulled it off fairly well. I think it's also important to remember that she's not Edie... she's simply playing a role. It would be impossible for anyone to pull off a truly, completely satisfactory Edie Sedgwick.

I think it could be good. I hate trailers anyway but it's not even a bad one. I think Sienna will get mixed reviews (at first) no matter what because edie is such an icon that people have strong opinions on who should play her and what they should sound/look like. I seriously doubt that Katie Holmes (who was also up for the part at one point) or anyone else for that matter could have pulled it off any better.

It would be interesting to see how Sienna portrays Edie...
but one other person I think could have played Edie...Keira ...
Keira has more presence and there's more resemblance...and
she's a great actress also...

I like her style, but as an actress.... somehow she makes all her roles look the same. At least thats what it looks to me. But costumes in Factory girl looks really nice. Looking forward to see it

i actually like the trailer and i am looking forward to the film. i did not know much about edie but i read much about her now - and i think sienna is the right one to play her

keira is a good actress and i like her - but i can't see any resemblance.

There's some similarity in the b/w shots but Sienna is carrying her British accent. Jeez....

Yeah, she makes her sound like a British Brittany Murphy I think.

The movie looked bad....
then when the "Dylan" character entered it looked terrible.

i actually think is good, i mean, she carried a little british accent but thats okey, cause that may be justified i guess by the fact that edie had good education and a good backround so its not british accent per se, its just a posh accent. by good i mean, the photography seems nice and so does the music, and god guy pearce is a living andy replica!!! . but im not sure if she is doing edie justice, she is not transmitting that mystery and flamboyance edie had. dont know.
