Why do so many people dislike her? I've heard a lot of people say they don't like her, but I never understood why. I mean, I've never asked why - but, at the time I didn't really see any of her films so I didn't really care to know the reason. After seeing her performance in Factory Girl I questioned it.
Is there a rumor or something that has made people dislike her?

Well I speak for myself, I never thought she was pretty she's got the be one of the least photogenic celebrities ever, but at the start when she was dating Jude Law I thought she was young, a breath of fresh air and having the time of her life, good things were expected of her.

But then after receiving an incredible amount of sympathy for what happened to Jude, she started acting and saying the most abysmally stupid things in interviews, she was not just young she was also dumb as hell and then she was everywhere, at every party with every guy under the sun, I guess people saw she was just not Keira material, she was just another It girl.

And her style became rougher, she started copying Kate Moss, dating her flings, everything became a bit shady , she was after all up for grabs.

I actually liked her at Factory girl, I think she was really good but her public persona is just too bad in my opinion for people to make a clear separation, she's too infantile to be really interesting.

I think that no one can blame her for be young, have luck with all those good looking men and for have so much energy to party, I wish I have that
Most of the people are just like this but they're not growing up under the spotlight
Maybe her fault is that she's not afraid of do what she wants to, even if she has like 100 cameras on her side

Or having people scrutinize everything I said.

I think she has done really well under all the circumstances.

I think she can really act.
I have not heard any actors or directors say a bad word about her.
I have always enjoyed her work....
even in craptastic movies ( FG) she shines....
I hope she continues to grow.
