Thanks, and I think my picture almost exaggerates the color, because it's not as dark in person. However, it's definitely darker than in Kohl's picture.

So I just checked this out, and for the price it wasn't too bad. There was a rolling rack out that had a new shipment on it so lots of us were just grabbing stuff from there. It was like a free for all in there. I tried on quite a few items and ended up getting the same top that seanut did.

Yay! I went back to Kohl's and got a price adjustment for my coats I bought last week. That means I got two lovely fall coats for around $190.00!!

i did!
i went this morning and ended up getting a few things (i also opened up a kohl's card to get the extra 15% off.. this was my first time going to kohl's )

I ended up getting the purple top with the ruffle along the neckline and the flower around the waist...
and two black skirts..
the pleated pocket skirt
and the pleated hem skirt (nice pencil skirt with an added detail at the bottom)
you can never have enough blk skirts imo

i was actually really impressed with the quality..
it was a pleasant surprise

there weren't a whole lot of sizes available..
i had a tough time digging up any mediums and smalls were almost non-existent..
(when it came to the tops especially)
luckily they had my size in the skirts..

*tried to attach pics of the skirts but it didn't work..
will try to take some of my own later..

i saw the collection over the weekend but didnt purchase anything as my time was short. i really liked the nightgown like slips. they were a great deal for 20 something $. i didnt see any leggings unfortunately and the store that i was in ran out of the smaller sizes on most things.

i saw the commercial for the line as well. the commercial features the iggy pop song "the passenger". its a strange choice for kohls.

when i was in kohls this weekend they played the song over the PA.

I haven't checked this collection out yet, there is only one Kohl's in all of Chicago (strangely) and it isn't near me and I don't own a car...
It's strange because initially I was so thrilled about the collection but in some pics the quality looks so horrible...now I'm just kind of 'eh'...though I admit, the ads give me great ideas for outfits!
Anyways, with regard for the night slips I spotted her real ones selling for $15 at my local TJ Maxx!!

Don't judge by pictures, especially if they're from Kohl's website! I've found that you have to look at these pieces in person to see what they're truly like, unfortunately.

I do not like Kohls... but there is something huge to be said about someone who can walk into a store confidently, find a fun peice, and Rock it. Props to Vogue for stepping outdside the box... fashion that is afforable to all levels. Love it.

Yes! I feel like people are so condescending and critical of designers wanting to create something for the majority of women in the world who CAN'T afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a single item of clothing.
