that shirt was the one thing i knew i wanted even before i went to the store to check out the collection

I'm actually wearing one of the skirts today so I'll see if I can gather up the energy to snap a photo of this outfit as well...

I wonder if the Vera Wang clothing will ever go on clearance? I mean it has to... eventually when the newer clothes starts coming in. And when misses clothing goes on clearance at kohl's it's no more than twenty dollars... but they wouldn't markdown the price to that would they? Or would they? Originally I thought the clothing would all be gone before it ever hit clearance.. but there's still alot left. Maybe it will be a "higher price" than your average clothing item in clearance?

here's a pic of the colorblock skirt...

it's ponte knit material, pretty comfortable...
the only thing i don't like is that it's straight up and down...
a friend suggested i get it tapered at the bottom (so it has more of a pencil shape)...
don't mind the t-shirt...

i'm sure whatever is remaning will go on clearance once the new collection/season (?) gets shipped to stores..

kimair i like the skirt on you..
i think the length is good and it doesn't look too straight from the picture...
could just be the angle though..
if it looks too straight in real life then tapering the bottom for a more pencil-skirt fit would be a good idea i think...
the pencil shape can be so flattering at that length..

Guess what I caught a glimpse of at work yesterday? A whole new batch of Vera Wang designs! Everybody's busy getting ready for the big sale (black friday ) so alot of new stufff is coming in. I didn't get a good look though, all I saw a yellow long sleeved shirt with the VW symbol on it. Everything was on a rack so it was hard to see. I'll try to get a better look today. It should be officially on sale soon, maybe sooner than friday. You could run in there today or tomorrow and I bet the clothes will be out on the floor on a rack about to be put onto a display... just grab what you want and buy it. Last time peole were doing that. Don't wait till friday though..

I just picked up some SV tights ( which are very comfy)....
and another top that's drk grey, loose and long and has blk jewels w/ a bit of blk mesh.
Also very comfy....
I think this whole line is super comfy to wear except my 3 inch heeled boots.

that is how it is supposed to fit/look and i don't think it could possibly look better on any human being!...

wear it with a tight top- like that T...
and very high heels...like those...
and you will look so freaking cool it's not even funny!...

I forgot all about this line! I just now took a look at Kohl's website and I don't see too many new items. There's a couple items I've never seen before (a tunic set and this layered cardigan), but I'm not sure if I've simply overlooked them in the past.

In any case, does anyone know when a new collection will come out?

i went to my local kohls two weeks ago and there were NO sizes smaller than 8 or medium...(there werent even that many 8's) i guess they werent kidding about running out of small sizes...
everything was on sale though... (30-50% off) and they only had a few garments of each size....

I do have to admit that it does take some of the fun out of it for me. I was wearing a very cute top from her Kohl's line at a party. Everyone made a HUGE deal of it and I was like, "Thanks. It's Vera Wang....for Kohl's." It was a bit anti-climatic. I still looked cute though!

Honestly, I really do not want or need people to say "OMG it's a ...". I want people to think that I look well put together, but mostly I want them to notice me, not my "OMG whatever." If you have a sense of personal style, the things you choose, no matter the label, all "look like you." I can think of a several people here this is true of, and I hope it's true of me as well.

Just checked out the website, I haven't looked since last month. Pretty much everything is new (to me), but I didn't see anything that rocked my world ... of course many things I saw before looked better in person. I'll definitely look again for spring ...
