Both Neiman and Saks will start the 40% off on May 9th.

For the ones such as me who like to take advantage of the 40% additional discount, we only need to wait for another month or so

Hi Caffeine - its amazing that the sales start so early in the States especially when here in Europe some stores are still waiting on the end parts of their spring deliveries - Balenciaga comes to mind here! Does Neiman and Saks discount all their stock at this time - Marc Jacobs, Prada, etc. or just a few ranges??? 40% is massive - here in Europe they usually start at 30%! and go to 50%.

This is a one night sale and the mailer says it is from 4-9 only, but I am sure you can go earlier if need be and reserve stuff......

I believe that Saks does not offer that at this moment. Neiman's ad said that "couture" collections are included tonight, but I'm not sure if they are still available tomorrow.

Just received a letter from Emporio Armani, their Spring/Summer 2006 Sale begins Thursday, May 25. The pre-sale begins on Wednesday, May 17 through May 24.

I have the same question as Monty76. BTW, are you talking about Burberry's own stores in NYC and LA? Did you receive a postcard/letter from them about the starting date of their general sale?

I received their postcards about those sale in my mailbox for the last two seasons. I am still waiting for that for this S/S season, don't know if they will still notify me this time. I am really interested in one of their totebags for men from this season, and of course also those delicious sand-washed silk scarves from the runway show. And those golden-buttoned coats/jackets, OMG! Don't have so much extra money for them though, they are probably too expensive for me even after 50 or 60% off. I saw that golden-buttoned trench coat at Burberry LA a while ago, more than $2000!

Damn ahah you want exactely the same things i do ahahah... lucky im not in NYC or LA or we would be fighting over the same stuff... which tote are you talking about? the more plain suede ones or the one with the flowers?

The scarves are awesome and so is the trenchcoat, but i have my eyes on the short, kinda light-khaki colour leather jacket. Also on a few sweaters and cardigans ahaha... i might hold out on the trenchcoat becasue next season there is this awesome leather tench that i would much rather have ahahah...

As is my expereince i think the prorsum sales are pretty awesome, meaning once they go on sale they do 50% off immdiately... not sure if that will be the case this season....
