Damn ahah you want exactely the same things i do ahahah... lucky im not in NYC or LA or we would be fighting over the same stuff... which tote are you talking about? the more plain suede ones or the one with the flowers?

As is my expereince i think the prorsum sales are pretty awesome, meaning once they go on sale they do 50% off immdiately... not sure if that will be the case this season....

Actually the totebags I like the most are those leather ones with address/name tag, I also like the applegreen one (with big pocket on the outside). But they are not sold in the US. I am not sure if I like suede bag though. To me, suede stuff always seems to get dirty easily and difficult to clean. I may get that canvas tote with brown leather pocket on the outside, but haven't decided yet. I'll have to wait until I see the real thing when I go to NYC next month if it hasn't sold out then.

BTW, do you live in Chicago? or SF? I know Chicago Burberry also carries Prorsum, but they seem to have only a small selection.

The scarves are awesome and so is the trenchcoat, but i have my eyes on the short, kinda light-khaki colour leather jacket. Also on a few sweaters and cardigans ahaha... i might hold out on the trenchcoat becasue next season there is this awesome leather tench that i would much rather have ahahah...

What Cloak stuff do you like that they picked up? I thought their buy was horrible; in fact, my opinion of the collection was pretty poor, but then I went to the Cloak store, and they had a lot of awesome pieces that Barney's didn't pick up (Boston or NY).

Also, that Demeulemeester sweater is made for pulls. Just warning you... I got the long striped sweater when it came in, and it sold out in a few days--never thought I'd see that in Boston...

Agreed on the Cloak stuff. Albert, Barneys doesn't put everything on sale right away - so don't be disappointed tomorrow.

Ohh you got the chunky black and white thick striped sweater? That one was really wonderful. I didn't even know Barneys had it! I was there the day they opened... maybe it came in later and sold out before i came through again

Duly noted kLm (I think we keep missing each other at Bilzerian according to Luke hahaha). The main cloak item I liked was the polo. I just didn't agree with the original price tag . knock off 40% and it's a bit more palatable.

I'll take a closer look at the Ann cashmere sweater based on what you said as well. Regardless, I'll pop in tomorrow morning before work and peruse with an open mind

I did pick up a pair of surprisingly nice black linen drawstring hem pants from the Newbury H&M. For $30, something that doesn't clash with Carpe Diem... not too shabby at all. I also got 7 pairs of black socks that have monday thru sunday embroidered on the very top each pair.

Yeah... I'm a sucker for dumb things like that

70% off a selection of handbags and I don't remember the percentage off of some of the clothes... it might be worth a look for any marc jacobs fans

No crazy rush today with the first day of Barneys sale here in Boston. The whole place was very quiet and the total opposite of packed. I don't even think people knew the sale started today.

If you're on the market for some raw DH denims, now's the chance to get them since they're something like $150 after the discount hehehe.

Nothing was noticably sold out, and unfortunately accessories (at least in menswear) are not on sale. They had the multi-key Ann necklace for $150.

kLm, thanks for the info on the Ann sweater. I tried on the small and not only is it too big, but it sort of... sits weird. I can see why you say it's susceptible to pulls very easily too. I put it back.

Just bought a pair of Onitsuka's for $60

I wish they carried Rick Owens for men at Barneys. There would have been some stocking up of tees!
