Spring / Summer 2012 Runway Music

Mia Moretti @ Alice + Olivia
Along with classics like Doris Day and Siouxsie and the Banshees, Mia threw in a dreamy funk number from Brooklyn's latest wordsmith, Theophilus London.

Michael Gaubert @ Diane Von Furstenberg
The French DJ is an old hand at this lark, having DJed for the likes of Oscar de La Renta and Karl Lagerfeld in the past. This year he brought the front row to its feet with tracks like Matius Aguayo's 'I Don't Smoke' and DJ Sneak's 'Drums and Us'. It might be a cliché but for good reason, we're loving that he dropped Nina Simone's 'Feeling Good' in there too.

The Misshapes @ Zac Posen
New York's notorious trio avoided anything too 'pop' in their set for the fellow New Yorker's runway and opted for classical/instrumental tunes, including Vitamin String Quartet's violin led tribute to The Pixies' 'Waves of Mutilation' and some fittingly lush dreampop from The Radio Dept.

Kris Bones @ Prabal Gurung
From the '90s pirate scene in London to the glittering catwalks of New York, Kris Bones earned his stripes putting together playlists at Donna Karan's (we assume) wild parties. As well as a Freemun Dubstep remix of James Blake's 'Limit to your Love' rework was this ambient remix of Bjork's 'Hyperballad'...

Here is the Alexander Wang Spring 2012 original soundtrack. Can anyone rip it until we get the Frederic Sanchez track? :flower:
