Studying in London

really? I'm there right now as we speak. I'm doing the foundation course in Art and Design. Let me know if you have any questions.

ah Alexandra, do you go out very much in Camberwell / East Dulwich? I love the vibe in that area of London.

Haven't been to East Dulwich yet! But yeah, Camberwell has quite a few nice bars and restaurants to say that the are has a bad reputation. But I like the fact that the area is reallty multicultural. You get Jamaican reggae music pumping out barbers every so often which is great! I think it's better than living in say...Peckham lol. Even though I actually quite like Peckham! I've been to JazzLive, in the St Giles Church crypt which has probably been one of my best nights out since I've been here. You have to check it out!! www.jazzlive.co.uk (i think).

Cool that sounds interesting!! It's so weird for someone to know my area. I think Peckham and Camberwell are about equal. There are areas that are VERY nice and areas that you definately do not want to be walking through. Erin O'Connor owns a home in Camberwell. East Dulwich has lots of great pubs/bars/etc. and it's safer than both so it's a good night out.

yeah it's a small world!! I'll have to go to East Dulwich at some point..sounds pretty good!

Just to say, I live and study in London, so I'm happy to answer questions (if I possibly can!)

^ I grew up just outside London, but visit all the time and did a one year full-time course in London. I can also answer questions. Just PM me..

www.secsinthecity.com is a website good to look at for fashion related jobs in London and what they look for....
