Your hair is very shiny and healthy-looking, the colour's nice too. In my opinion, I would trim it shorter to collar-bone length and add some layers to make it more shaggy.
just what i was going to say! tell us your secret what shampoo do you use? do you dye your hair?

if i was you i would go for a dave grohl hair cut when he did the album one by one. well a longer version but thats just my opinion!:p

I dont dye or colour my hair its all natural, I never have dyed it - I get natural redish highlights for some strange reason.

for shampoo the best I have used so far is Umberto Giannini's sleek and chic range shampoo & conditioner. But my main secret, I suppose, is that I let my hair airdry as much as possible and only straightening when I need to.

Im trying to grow my hair long as I said, its just something Ive always wanted to do and I must say I get more attention from girls than before as most ask about and want to touch my hair - so its great for that reason.

Good hair! It looks like my sister's actually... same color but hers shines a blue-red... it's dark brown but almost black and then it'll hit the light and shimmer yes, I'm jealous because her's is perfect shiny and straight and I got the dark brown frizzy curls..

i am so jealous. i cant even remember my natural hair colour i've dyed it that much! well all the shades of brown you can think of!

good luck with growing your hair:flower:

My first please help!!! Please help

I want to dye my hair really, really blonde- white blonde. Platinum? It is pretty light already, so it will not be as damaging as it would be for someone with darker hair, so that is not my concern. My concern is if I can really pull it off--

I think that some people look awesome with platinum hair, but I am not sure that I am one of these people. I had almost platinum highlights put in all over my head last year after a horrendous "I let my BF dye my hair" incident. I had to go really light b/c there were white leopard spots all over my head (don't ask:blush: ) and I have a few inches or darker re-growth right now and need to do something.

This is the best pic I could find of my hair in its present state. Should I go for it? I also have green eyes--

Opinions, please:flower: :flower: :flower:

I think you could either way. Really blonde, and lighten your brows (though I think it would look better with slightly thicker brows) or you could go to a rich chocolate brown. In the end, your young. Try everything!

Thanks Meg:flower:

I think my brows are slightly darkened in that pic-- they are actually as light as the lightest part of my hair, and I have never plucked them either! I've always wished that they were thicker. Thanks for the comment about being young b/c I am not really that young anymore:woot:

I lean towards nay..

The reason is that your skin judging from your photo, is rosy like mine..and platinum haircolour will emphasise this. Going platinum will demand a lot of extra effort make-up wise. I went platinum years back..and looking a old pictures of me..I don't think it really suited me.

Oh and another thing..you're hair, like mine seems curly..which means its probably drier and more proned to breakage and damage..taking that into consideration..stressing your hair by going platinum would mean more upkeep to keep your hair healthy.
If I was you I'd go more towards a hazelnut colour...:flower:

Good Luck whatever you decide on..in any case if you hate it...it'll grow out..

Hey- thanks for the replies. I re-scheduled for later in the month. I am torn between going to a reddish-chesnut or to the p-l-a-t-i-n-u-m. <--- Leaning this way- I'll post a pic later!

Why don't you go platinum and then if you hate it switch to the reddish-chesnut option? Wouldn't it be easier to dye over that way? Experiment. Live a little. It's only hair. ;)

That said? I can't see your face because you took the picture down, and I also might not be aware of problems caused by all that dye. But good luck! And please post pictures of whatever you do. :flower:

Dying My Red Hair . . .

I'm highly considering dying my red hair. I have freckles also. I want to go a darker color. More . . auburn/brown since I've always wanted my hair to be brown. You guys are pretty good at helping people out, so should I do it?

I know the pictures are kinda wierd, but they're the only ones I could find where you could see my hair color pretty decently. I tried to find a picture of how I want it, but all the files were too big and I'm not sure how to resize them. Soooo. I want something Lindsay Lohan-like.

Thank you guys

oh god i love your hair color! you're going to regret changing it- especially because it will be SO HARD ever getting it back to its natural color. I'd keep it- its truly beautiful.

yes i agree. beautiful hair color. if you chemically treat your hair, you run the risk of damaging the hair.

You`ve got a really beautiful hair. Many people want to reach your color, but painted hair is never the same. So I advise you not to change it.

you could pull it off, but i already think you look nice right now,, your hair is pretty dark looking in those pictures

Hair Coloring Questions

Ok...I need some help and advice please! I am a natural blonde but am thinking about going to a brighter color blonde. I have never dyed my hair before and I am really scared. Will my natural color grow back darker? Will I damage my hair? Will I be addicted to dying it (this is what my friends say) I usually think of my hair as my best feature so I don't want to ruin it but I want just a little bit blonder...any advice? Please help!:flower:
