:innocent: Well, I wouldn't be considered one of the younger people probably, but I'd suggest that you take these pictures to a good hairdresser as an example of the cut you want and make sure to ask him/her about styling products while you're there ;)

I have tried but ends up gettin cut wrong becoz no one no's how i wont it apart from myself, thats why i hate people doing my hair. I just need a few tips from people who have this hair or or have any ideas thanks. but great idea, already done tho:( and failed:cry:

Perhaps you haven't found the right stylist yet? It took me quite a long time to find a stylist who could give me exactly what I wanted - and I'm super picky. :flower:

I agree ... try, try again. You may try getting some local recommendations for a stylist. You may try spending more money, or going someplace edgier. Or you could try a chain like Toni & Guy, someone on the higher end of the payscale--their people tend to be pretty technically proficient, and this doesn't look like an insurmountable challenge ;) Btw, those of us who are older have lots more experience getting our hair cut than the younger crowd :innocent: B)

get a shaggy cut, thin it out, and then never wash it ever again

I'm interested in this thread too! I am going to have my shoulder length hair cut too. I want to go short but am not sure what to try!

Question concerning a hair cut!

Hey guys!
I asked a girl form paparazzi world about her hair cut and she gave me this explanation of her hair cut:

yeah I have a special hair cut
You have to ask for a point finish in the back, so when you put all you hair in your back, it gives a nice, finished point.
Then, stairs at the 2 side and a big in your hair volume and the top thing you really need, is your hair cut shorter in the front ^^ that's it

Unfortunately my english isn't good enough to get the first part of it... what did she mean by saying "point finish"...? I looked it up -without any result...
Please help !!!!!

Hey, I think what she meant by a "point" at the back.... is that often, when you get a hair cut, it's straight across at the back in a horizontal line. Sometimes, if you ask (or if the stylist decides), they cut it so that it forms a gentle point, pointing down your spine, so that when you put it in a ponytail, it looks less bulky then a regular ponytail... it's quite nice actually.

Hope that helps!

How do you get cute, wavy hair? My hair's an inch or so past shoulder length and is relatively fine... would I just put mousse or volumizer in damp hair, blow dry upside down and toussle with fingers?

Can someone please tell me how to create different styles (waves, curls) etc. with a ghd iron?
