male hair cut problem..

alright guys, im a 17 year old brasilian dude living in canada and im getting my hair cut on tuesday. my hair right now is like medium length and really curly/thick. i like the texture of my hair but its hard to pick a style to suit me. i want to cut it and make it look cool and different..i was sort of thinking of cutting it all short except for the bangs so i can gel them up and look cool. any ideas/pics of cool hair cuts you guys think would work for me.. this is what i look like BTW..

Well, as far as i know, that the "im living on my own now and there is no one to tell me i have to keep my hair tidy, so i wont"

basically you dont cut your hair very often (just a trim now and then but its a grownout haircut) after you graduate from highschool.....so you have this shaggy bed head look...which is totally sexy on some boys.

I would keep it shaggy...maybe just get them to style it a bit. Get them to thin it out so it looks a little tidier...this will be uber low maintaince

well guys, i cut my hair. i sort of did something different, my influence this season would probably be james dean. i got my hair cut like his. like short along the sides and big at the top, its like a faux hawk. it looks sweet. ill get pics as soon as i can! ..when i grow my hair out again it'll be looooong.

hello everyone .. i have a problem .. I CAN'T DEAL WITH MY HAIR IN THE HUMIDITY.. what should i do? my hair is just getting weirder .. normally it's stright to wavy .. now it's just frizzy and ugly .. i can't deal with it, any products i should use or any tricks ANYTHING plz help!

Hi guys =)
Okay I'd really like a new style for next year. Right now it's a little over waist-length, a very dark brown colour (almost black) and it's halfway between wavy and straight. It's also pretty darn thick, too. One thing you might want to know is that throught this year I was in love with my hair straightener, and practically killed my hair dead. I'm definitely getting it cut to get rid of the split ends and brittleness I've caused. Also, I had a kind of side fringe going on, but I've recently started pinning it back.
Any suggestions?

Tips needed- Long hair dillema's can be crucial.. Which i am currently facing. I thought a new colour and cut should do the trick. Perhaps burgandy with black panels and some messy layering. Yet i've had layering in previous times, and am thinking of a new doo?/ Or hair colour idea's? help..

I have natually curly hair and my extentions are natually curly, typically I just wash and go, I rarley do anything with my hair. I'm having my extentions replaced on Satuday, and I'm wondering if I should get both my hair and the extentions permanently straighented? The ideas been lingering for a long time but I've been too afraid to try it. Heres a pic of me and my hair, it's a few inches shorter now though...

My stylist showed me how to create curls using a ghd iron but I am still finding it very tricky ... this is what she told me to do so far :

Comb a small section of hair with a tail comb and glide the irons over once. Then clamp the irons onto the end of the hair, and bend them at a 180 degree angle, then slip out ... creating the curl. It looks something like curling ribbons with scissors for presents ...

She made it look SO easy, does naybody have any advice to make the process easier, besides practice?
