Looking For Sunglasses Like These

Hello, I was wondering if any of you knew where I could find a pair of shades (vintage or new) that are nearly identical to the pair that Soledad Miranda is wearing below. I am looking for huge bug eye frames in black. I have two pair of Versace's (from 2007) and two pair of Missoni's (from 2006) that are very huge and mod but more Jackie-O rather than this huge, oversized/mod/bug-eye look that I'm dying to find. I don't want anything from some cheap novelty costumey-place. I really like vintage Cutler + Gross lenses-but their online shop doesn't have any similiar types in black just tortoise shell-AND I REALLY WANT BLACK. If anyone can direct me someplace online where they've seen vintage or current high end sunglasses that resemble these at all-please let me know. THANK YOU!

I need some help. I want to get my dad those persol sunglasses 2720 that were worn by the newest James bond.. I am torn though. he wears the tortiose shell color in the movie but i am thinking of getting my dad the black ones... arent the tortiose color for girls normally?? what do you think black or the tortiose?

I LOVE Persol sunglasses and I don't think tortoise is feminine per se after all Steve McQueen, one of the least feminine actors I can think of wore dark tortoise Persol frames all the time and kind of made style 714 famous. They are the folding style and I bought a pair just like them last week; I’m waiting for them to arrive!

I was still thinking about this again and while I don't believe tortoise is a woman's color, I wanted to also point out that it really depends too on your dad's skin tone. Is he fair or dark? As people get older sometimes their skin tone tolerates darker frames less and less, you know?

My pleasure! I love tortoise shades. I'm almost 40 now and although I still have very olive skin tone and most people say I look quite young (late 20's to early 30's), I've noticed I can't wear the blackish hair color anymore *sigh*... so, I'm doing more and more really dark brown near my face (both hair and sunglasses) and it works. I still haven't given up my black eyeliner though; I think I'll be buried with my Urban Decay Zero and my black DiorShow !

^ i got a pair from there before. they're reliable. but just keep in mind that if u're in the US and are not satisfied with the glasses, sending them back is a hassle!

i've got myself another pair of sunglasses. im not too sure if i own more shoes or sunglasses.
anyway, i guess this thread might've influenced me, i got the 714 persol.
i own many many sunglasses but i dont think i've ever had one that looks better on me, im sooo happy
