oh i love these! too bad i can't pull this style of sunglasses off :(

Do you guys put sunglasses on your head? I stopped doing it after reading something about glasses stretching out if you do that, but I know they can be tightened at some shops. I was wondering if you think it's permanently bad to do that. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to put them in the case. ;)

I think so yeah. Not only because it could damage your sunglasses but also because the look (wearing them on your head) is a bit ... dated ... for my liking.

^^
i damaged mine with doing that too often ... well, not really damaged, but they were stretched pretty much

Nice thread, personally I think that THE best sunglasses are OAKLEY's , other companies are far behind :) didn't read all the pages so I don't know if anyone mentioned them - www.oakley.com , They were used in MANY movies, the most popular would be X-MEN with Cyclops and his Oakley Penny, but also Blade, Mission Impossible and others. I own 3 pairs and they are amazing

He has those in his clothing line Pastelle. Although, I'm not sure when they'll be available. They also have knock offs floating around, I think Girl Props has them for like $20.

those are shutter shades.... they have 'em everywhere now... try 80s purple.com

do you think the tom ford carine's on ebay are authentic? there are a ton of them and some are super cheap and some are expensive...

I am in love with these but they are sold out! I have them in plain red but i love the glitter

When I bought my Chanels the woman told me not to put them on my head, when we got back home I had them on my head and stepped up a step and hit my head on the doorframe... I had only had them for about half an hour and the frame had been permanently scratched. Never wore them on my head again.
I think it definately weakens the arms. I tried some Ermenigildo Zegna shades on the other day and one of the arms was bending right back flimsily.

^ yeah early 90s.... i saw them in a really old episode of absolutely fabulous
