I want to get new Raybans but I dont know which ones?
ideas?

i'd go to the store and try them. you should choose raybans that suit your face.
i recently bought a pair of rimless wayfarers from the new collection. initially i wanted to buy the classic ones but after trying i chose the others chause they suit me much better.

I got these shades in Ottawa, Canada @ a vintage shop for 12$ and I freaking love them... Although I have no idea what brand they are, I don't really care cause they give me that "70's early 80's mafioso look" that I like to stylize in the streets :) hahaha

I've been buying cheap sunglasses for years but I really need to invest in a good pair that offers actual UV protection. So I've been contemplating getting the Marc Jacobs 023 in black. Thoughts?

I'm sure this has been asked before... but does anyone know of a good website for shades. Thanks in advance.

Pretty chic. It is also a shape that would work with almost every face-shape I think. I love their vintage look, and almost no one does that better than Jacobs.

I am a sunglasses/shades freak, but only buy Tom Ford, Dior Homme, and RayBan Aviators. Recently, I broke my rule and bought a YSL pair (originally designed during the Tom era) and another gold Gucci pair. I hate stupid my face, so I try to cover it as much as possible I guess.

I own about 10 pairs of Tom Ford alone, so it is a little embarrassing at this point. But I promised myself I will not buy another pair -ever- again.

It is a sickness really.

^ lol, I'm that way too, I get way too excited when I go into the sunglasses section of a store, they all talk to me at once :p I like the Marc Jacobs I think they're light and feminine

I desperately need sunglasses.. any would do (ok, not really) but I feel so uncomfortable in them. I don't feel like myself. Maybe I should just get some Wayfarers and get into the role.

Thanks everyone for your input :flower:.

Since they are an old model I can only buy them off ebay and I'm curious if anyone has done so in the past? I don't want to end up with yet another pair of cheap sunglasses.

:woot:I'm jealous!!! I would love to see a picture of your collection!:p

those are awesome. I actually like a lot of the classic styles. Oliver Peoples bought out Paul Smith glasses awhile back, and some of their famous styles are old Paul Smith ones.

My newest pair came from ebay - a silver frame Dior Homme. I promise: this is the last one!!

I am too ashamed to share them, but maybe will find some pics online. Among all, my faves are Hawkings, Ford and Buckley. I hope the pics posted work.

Btw, there are some really reliable sunglasses sellers on ebay - I bought some of my Diors from ebay actually. Never secondhand though: always brand new. I mean, secondhand may also work, but I never tried, I mean to say. You can't try them on, but they give/display measurements, and model-looks and everything.

but as the brand name is missing on the glasses & Rayban doesn't have blue ones it must be another brand

^ thanks!

They are quite round actually and large. I really like them, and they are Tom Ford as well.
