What do you guys think of Ray Ban Wayfarers with clear prescription lenses?

I'm thinking of doing this to a pair of New Wayfarers in tortoiseshell; Hit or miss?

^^I like those for a guy. You can buy just the frames I believe on the Ray-Ban website. The new Wayfarers are smaller and my east-west then the traditional ones. I have the tortoise 2140's but in the "54" size as I have a large face. If your face is smaller then new wayfarers would work.

^ Those are very Hunter lol. Only his lenses would be brown. He's my fav author, I adore him and I actually got a pair of aviators for the same reason Mine are pretty girly though.

Yea thats the main reason I like them cause there so out of the ordinary like him and I am the same. He is by far my favorite author aswell. I used the quote "buy the ticket, take the ride" as my senior quote lol.

^^Yes the new wayfarers come in larger sizes too. However even the largest new wayfarer is still a tad smaller than the regular wayfarer in the largest size (if that makes sense!)

^ Yep, the Original Wayfarers in size 50 are actually bigger than the New Wayfarers in size 55...

I just tried them on today to confirm.

I'm gonna get my New Wayfarers in tortoiseshell tomorrow morning, I'm totally excited!
