Dolores asked about these Tom Ford Sunglasses in Oct. with no replies. I am curious as well. I know for a fact that these sunglasses are either "Georgette" ($420) or "Peter" ($360) aviators.

Does anyone know for sure which model is in this advertisement? Thanks in advance.

Just wondering if anyone else has had an experience like mine with Tom Ford sunglasses?

I bought the TF Aiden about 2 years ago (click here for a picture, credit to TomFord.com). This summer, one of the glasses came falling out randomly when I had them dangling on my shirt... Perhaps it was weak before that, I'm not sure.

I had it repaired at an optician and it all seemed to be fine and sturdy again. Then about a week ago, I accidentally dropped them on a table from a small height.. it wasn't a big fall but the glass came popping out again.

Could this be the slightly thin and curved frame which doesn't give enough support? Or is it just a case of poor quality? I must say I'm quite disappointed about this happening to a pair of $350 sunglasses from the brand that is all about quality. I might have to write to them and see what they say.

I bought these literally on Christmas eve.
I was reluctant because I didn't want to look like a 'hipster' wannabe but
once I tried them on I knew they were perfect. I have never had a pair of sunglasses that fit so well in my entire life.

I don't know of any online store who has the incognitos in stock anymore. Oki-ni.com used to sell them, but even the aviator version is sold out. You can find them on ebay but they'll still be around $500.
