It's only been a week or so and this is the first time this happened this season....Just be happy it's not taking 2 months, there will be people around here who can tell you how horrid that is!

That's a shame you have to drop out mint.

The deadlines are there so the challenges don't go on for weeks on end. If someone is late the judges don't mind because they know some people are busy and there are plenty of people who are able to cover too.

A couple of the judges have been away, or ill so that's why reviews have been delayed. I know they also have lots of school work, exams coming up but since summer is almost here hopefully everyone will have more time.
I think another reason it's been slower this time is because of the games being hidden.

The judges have done a fantastic job of the 3 seasons of this game, so lets not start arguements about how long it takes because that is one of the reasons VNTM has almost disappeared

Hi Guys!

I want to thank you all for being so patient and I'm gonna try my best to explain this to you all.

cutxpaste, yogini and I all have very different schedules. I'm on summer break at the moment, so I'm on alot during the day and they have school and are online mostly during the afternoon. Add to that the fact that we're in different time zones (3 hours difference I think) and it makes it a bit more difficult to communicate with someone. At times, I log on right when one has just logged off, I'm eating dinner when another sends me a PM or I'm already sleeping while the other is getting to the computer for the first time that day. It's nobody's fault, as I said, we just have different schedules.

I can completely sympathize with your frustrations and don't think that the judges are in any way trying to ignore you or that we want to make the game go slower than it should. As many have you pointed out (and we do appreciate it) this game is supposed to be fun and if it's starting to stress people out in any way, then there would really be no point.

I think maybe we can come up with something that will work for everyone. For example, instead of waiting for all 3 judges to do reviews, maybe we can just have whoever did them first up and then the judges can vote from that. Ultimately, I think it's waiting for reviews that probably slows down the game. It takes time to PM and decide on winners and all that also, but that part is a bit easier to get done.

Also, if you see me online and I haven't done reviews, feel free to PM me or leave a profile comment. I won't get mad or annoyed. Sometimes it's as simple as not knowing that all the entries are in or I haven't checked the thread in a day or 2. I think the same goes for all the judges.

Jssy, Yogini and I all do run on very different schedueles. Everyone does. And everyone has certain obligations they have to meet before visiting tFS like homework, housework, etc. I'm really sorry that it's come to this where people are dropping out of the game because us judges are busy but please know that it's not like we are intentionally neglecting the game. We have so much fun judging and I don't want it to end. But while I am going to have a lot more time in the summer, this is not saying I'm always going to be online, free to write reviews and eliminations and new challenges

Well I'd like to say that even though the judges take longer than we all would like sometimes, I want to commend them for all of their hard work put into the game, and that's not me sucking up, that's me sincerely saying thank you.
