Suspenders

i haven't been able to find them anywhere over here. I posted on my aus vogue site about them and no one was remotely interested in suspenders or braces. Why aren't there any nices ones like what jessica stam wears?

Just Jeans have them now, they're not very special but they'll do if you're desperate for a pair. I got 2 pair from suspenderstore.com a few months back.

I love braces... or suspenders as most people are calling them here... especially those thin ones from Dior Homme...
I bought a pair in black from Dior Homme, couple a weeks ago and they are absolutely Hot.... if I may say so......

I think it's a fantastic accessory for both men and women. It might be a problem for women, with there breast size, but I must say I have seen women with larger breasts, who looked gorgeous with braces... so I don't think it should hold anyone back...

Ok so i have three pairs i bought like a year ago from a vintage shop because they seemed kind of fun at the time .. but yet here i am a year later and they are still un worn .. im thinking i should wear them but im not sure how to ...
any tips ?? im a 34 b and im not exsactly huge but not flat ... so im wondering if im too big to wear them maybe ?? hmm what too do ... ?

Hey, I got mine from the men's department and I like to pair my suspenders with feminine tops like puff-sleeved blouse and loose slacks.
I also wear them with pencil skirts and louboutins for a more corporate look.
As suspenders are obviously menswear, I keep my accessories (bags, shoes, jewelry) pretty and feminine for balance.

And, imo, your measurements are fine, you are not too big for suspenders

You can find relatively cheap suspenders at any mens' department store.

yeah, i was thinking that actually...but funnily enough i haven't seen any in shops over here at all! i know they have loads on ebay, but i think someone said that men's braces don't tend to sit very well on girls, and that it makes them rise up at the back or something?

try tucking in a relatively tight top into your trousers, putting your braces on over it, then a loose, wide-necked top over them for a subtle way of showing them, with just a flash of them at your shoulder line and at your waist. or a slightly see-through top, or perhaps a crocheted one so that people can see you're wearing them but you're not being too much of a wannabe.
