The Minidress S/S 06

I really love this style, especially the A-line type of dress and the empire/ high-waisted style. Glad that this style is back.

I love this trend! But I prefer it without leggins (althought I wear it sometimes with leggins if they are too short)

Yes I agree, I also prefer to wear leggings when the dress is too short or if it's too cold

Jane Birkin always looked great in minidresses!

It makes sense that after those long boho dresses/skirts, the short dress/mini skirt makes a comeback.

I love the mini dresses in Sari Guerons F/W 06 collection.

I second that. Her entire collection inspired me a lot, although it seemed very "spring-y" to me. At least it was suited to Southern California winters (where I live). :P

Yes very pretty... i'll def be looking for those dresses for summer..... and i love how she pairs them with lovely belts.... timeless ....!

yes, very-girly !
tho they were quite a trend back in summer, but as sweater
the black & white striped, by Dior & dolceandgabbana

I'm a bit tired of the babydoll trend...AND it makes you look pregnant (I was asked by a security man if I was pregnant at the airport last year when I was wearing my then new mj top , big trauma! ). I like the jane birkin/françoise Hardy/ Kate Moss minidress, with ballet flats or slouchy boots of course...heels make them tacky I think (à la Jessica simpson:sick: )

I agree about not wearing it with heels, they are perfect with ballet flats or flat sandals.

^ my thoughts exactly .. i know i'll be stacking up on dresses this spring/fall

A great alternative to playsuits !

Although some of them , the babydoll style can't be worn by anyone without making them look pregnant.

Or an ostrich! That's what I feel like when I wear babydolls. But I totally love the A-line mini dress. This is really exciting!

babydolls are only good when you are pregnant. Kept me from buying maternity!! But I love the minidress's.

These minidresses are fabulous! I'm excited for wearing tons of them during the warmer seasons!

I love this look at well. As Australia's heading into winter, I'll be wearing these dresses with black opaque stockings with ballet flats or boots :D I'm searching for a sweater dress or a long-sleeved mini dress. Alice McCall (Australian designer) showed some lovely ones at London Fashion Week
