I think I've been watching too much Miami Ink and craving for my tattoo or something....

I have drawn with sharpies on myself in class all this week and its caught on that several people asked me to draw on them too...

I stopped when acetone hit my arm to snap a quick pic so you can see my madness :innocent:

Actually thats not all of it...i forgot my leg was doodled on too and you cant see the vine work on the side of my hand....

I nhate this camera it doesnt focus well....and i dont know where I put my new and lovely one

ever thought of being a tattoo artist:p
this makes me want my tat even more and something else on my wrist! darn it!:ninja:

^ Someone told me that today. I did a henna pattern on someones ankle/ top of the foot....during class  Oh and I still have the stuff from yesterday....cept now I have art halfway on my arm...by tomorrow I probably have up to my elbows.... I'll take a pic....later when I'm done with all that art...thing though i get lazy....you can tell...have of those doodles are half-as*ed efforts.... hahahah

Do you guys ever worry about tattoos affecting your job?

I am thinking maybe the arm wasn't such a good idea as I want to be a midwife, do you think people will respond to it......my friend said yes......so im confused now.

i think that they might and ask you to keep it covered!

personally i dont think visible tattoos or body piercings should affect someone getting a job! but then again employers/people usually have preformed ideas of what people with visible body modifications are like and its a shame! i would love to get some visible piercings but because i need to get a job to support myself through university its just not an option:(

Not even gonna read this whole thread;

I absolutely despise tatts especially on attractive women [flame away!!]

Why would anyone with a nearly perfect body such as Angie Everhart ruin it by shoving her skin full of ink?

The first time I saw nudes of her, I nearly got sick. Gorgeous woman, as long as the tatts are covered.

Sorry, but there is no 'art' to it, it's disgraceful.

Sounds very much narrow minded.

^ Yeah sounds very much like my dad...

He is so old fashioned with this....

When he found out my mom got a tattoo he said that it cheapens a good woman like that...

Not true. It's how a person carries themselves... tattoos can be carried off gracefully...but I guess theres a lot of stigma to them still :(

I felt like stabbing back to my dad... well if tattoos make you cheap, you better make sure your wife doesn't get one or she'll be free. :ninja: Seriously though, tattooed or not my mom is a classy woman and my future ex stepmom isn't an ounce of the responsible woman my mother is. She reminds me of Tara Reid... :innocent:

yay:clap: did it hurt much:ninja: ?
i'm not gonna lie...it hurted, but it's a standable pain. and the part that hurted the most was the top of it (where the word 'sky' is), cause i guess the skin is much thinner
but as always, the pain was worth it :D

^ but there're places where it hurts less

and i think it doesn't hurt that much in the back :flower:

^ Yay :clap:Congrats.... I like where you placed the words...the side is not a "typical" area people usually put words on...

Thats kinda where my tattoo will be...on the side... I'm scared that it'll hurt and I can't take it and never finish the whole artpiece. :ninja:

^ thanks :flower:

i love the place. it was the only thing i knew for sure when i was thinking of getting the tattoo.
and it hurts a lil, mostly on the top. but you'll handle it, and it may seem like it's gonna be forever, but after a while you get used to the feeling ^_^

very nice tattoo solg, I'd love to get a tattoo, but I'm afraid that I'll change my mind after a week from getting it and that I should have gotten something else.

I was thinking of getting little stars on my feet, or on the inside of my wrist, but I can't decide
