Tattoos

MYCROSS.JPG

I've been considering a tattoo for years, but have held off because I'm so fickle, and don't want to regret it. Now I've found the perfect design, but want it just so, very small, and with lots of detail and the open spaces, and I'm terrified they'll screw up and make it a big blob of ink, so it'll probably never happen. I want this cross, either on the inside of my wrist or on the small of my back, over on the left. It says "Save and Keep Safe" in Russian across the horizontal bar (I'm of Ukrainian descent though, so my mom's like no! No Russian!

thats why you should find the best tattoo artist you can and disscuss with them what you want and tell them your worries and they will tell you if its possible to do!:flower:

^ Yeah do some research if someone near your area is particularly good with religious work and tiny detail... I have the constant worry mine will not be done right so I started by just walking in and looking at wall art of shops in my neighborhood also online theres usually sites that have local shop listings so you can browse around their sites.

I'm really frustrated right now...I'm trying to find the number on the internet for Miami Ink to ask about booking a appointment a few months prior, but all it gives me is sites about the TV show.

Sephora Socialite, I don't know if this is the right information or not, but it's worth a try. Good luck.

Let us know if you make it on the show! ;) Have you heard of Sunset Strip Tattoo in LA? That's where Angelina Jolie supposedly got some of her tattoos done.

Thank you! Karma for you! Youre a sweetie! :flower:

Yes, she did...I saw a interview with the tat artist there talking about him working on her...and how she moaned like it was a sexual thing:lol:

I've been to Sunset tattoo.I just passed by it yesterday. I was walking around Sunset strip ^_^

I re-did my henna design because I'm impatient for a tattoo...and also.... I'm just testing placements. Also, I think I'll run out of sharpie ink from drawing on myself in class to kill boredom and play around with ideas and people asking me to do something on them.

Aaah, only Elegance.Is.Refusal. can probably relate to this madness.

i think the wings are cute, but a lot of people has them now. Carolyn Murphy's tattoo is just beautiful

that koi and lotus on carolyn is really nice. I didn't even know she had tattoos...but I guess, Brandon Boyd is tattoed I find usually it starts to influence you to want one.

I want to get something similar to it :p . I have a question though...

On a scale of 1-10, Tattoos hurt how much?

you know, it really depends on where you're getting it. for ex, people think it hurts a lot when you get a tattoo on your wrist. but it really doesn't (on scale 1-10, i give it a 3). the last tattoo i got hurted. it seriously did. but i got it on the side of my body. there're bones there and the skin is super thin. so on the top, it hurted the most (give a 7 on the scale).

i've never ever heard of sb that couldn't stand the pain. my (prooved :p) theory is that the pain depends on the spot.

you'll survive! i promise ^_^
it hurts, yeah, but it's a standable pain. if i could, you can too. :D

it sort of seems as if tattoos have become at rend now, within the last 6 months i know 4 girls and 2 guys who have gotten them, although this could just be beacuse everyone turned 17 where you dont need consent for a tattoo...but everyone seems to be wanting one now.

i agree ybf i think it is because society is becoming more accepting of this form of modification. also it becoming eaiser to get tattooed with palours popping up all over the place!

i've heard the show Miami Ink really makes people want a tattoo. but i don't know it that's real or just what people say.

and tattoos are a bit of a trend. most of the grown up people i know ask me what i'll do when i'm old and i have a bunch of tattoos all over my body. and i think that's not gonna be that weird cause a lot of people from my generation will have them too.
