Tattoos

 I was kinda thinking that might happen too! Not the look I'm going for . . . .

i've taken my first tattoo about half an year ago, this small text on the inner side of my wrist. left hand. now i'm planning to get a new on my back, these big fairy wings which my boyfriend draw just today <3

my wrist http://www.bodymodifications.net/picture/46198/

with the wings i'm propably going to get something small as well on the other foot. i don't see any point paying for 60 € for a small tattoo, since that is a big money for a student. so two at the same time :D

and i'm loving my boyfriends tattoos as well. we are the tattooed couple :D

I want something done on my feet (well i want to start there first) in green ink... a bit up to the ankle..... i haven't decided yet as to what i wanted done.. i am still thinking.... pain is going to be an issue though... because the skin is so thinner on feets and there are some big veins down there... :ninja:

i also want an inner arm tattoo on the area just above the elbow.... and on the front of the arm as well (on top of it).... all in green ink.... i don't like full sleeves and colors.... :ninja: i went something really timeless but cutting edge at the same time.....

Bollocks! Don't let them con you. All this stuff about feet being more painful because it is on the bone! I got a foot tattoo and it was painless. I later found out that the pain thing that people talk about is the wrong way round. Bony areas have less nerves. Fatty areas have more nerves. Seriously pinch your wrist, then pinch your thigh.

Also careful with greens and yellows... they are nigh on impossible to remove.

What I've wondered more about is UV ink tats... there has to be something bad about putting glowing ink into your skin...

Yeah there is. I looked them up online and some artists don't use them because they turn browny and itch. You can apparently get severe dermatitis and some suspect they are carcinogenic.

Very few varieties of ink are approved in the US. Seriously tattooing is an age old tradition. I'd stick to regular inks.

Here are some more (NOT to my taste!) tattoos for the person who wanted white ones

i do agree with SiennaInLondon, the pain is far more less than you would expect. of course you feel the needle, but after a while you get used to it and don't really feel anything. i was pretty horrified myself when i got my first tattoo, because wrist does contains big veins but in the end was even a little bit dissapointend that it did not hurt that much :D of course pain is individual but i don't think that tattooing your feet is going to be that painful :flower:

wow i like the idea of white tattoos.... because i've been really wanting a tattoo, on my wrist, in my fathers handwriting- the nickname he has for me... but i dont want it to be noticable, and i want to be able to cover it... maybe i'll get it white for now and get it black for when its like legal... lol

Hers is a koi fish, if they think it's beautiful, they can get their own koi in their design. It's a beautiful symbol to have on the body.

Yeah, that's more what I meant. I remeber someone saying that it was some type of fish, but I couldn't remeber the "koi" part.

I would never get the SAME tattoo.

Anywayyy... Thanks!;)

I have a small chinese symbol on my hip that stands for 'soul & spirit'. But since i hate black tatoos that turn green and just look nasty, i got it in brown so it looks like henna and just fades to a different shade of brown. Good tip if you don't want it there forever or looking too tatoo-like, if that makes sense?! :)

Has anyone here had a tatoo lasered off? I'm thinking of getting mine removed (it's less than an inch big) in a couple of years. Any ideas of cost, results, and pain? Thanks in advance! :flower:
