I like it but in the last pic, the red looks like a rash or disease or something. In black and white it looks awesome. Still I would never get a tat on my hip where pregnancy and weight gain/loss could cause havoc!

Boots and perfume -that is a good tip about brown. However you can always get black touched up. Brown may be harder to get lasered off.

My tatoo says "attacca" which is a musical term for going on to the next movement without stopping. It's on the inside of my hip, and is my philosophy for life as well as a bit of sexual innuendo.

I've been wanting a tattoo since I was 14, my aunt passed away from cancer and before she did she got a tattoo on her wrist. It means a lot to me and it's very personal, HOWEVER, my mom HATES tattoos with a passion. I'll be 21 in 5 days and have an appt. to get it done. She's really pissed and pretty much threatned to disown me
So, my point is, how old was everyone when you got yours? I'm wondering if I should get it done and just try to hid it . . .

^ Well, my aunt was on my dad's side, and to make a terribly long story short, my parent's divorce wasn't easy. So, there's a lot of hard feelings. It doesn't help my dad has the same tattoo (another major reason why my mom doesn't want me to get it).
I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place here

I wouldn't try to hide it, b/c then if she does finally see it she might be even more pissed. Do you live with her? How would you hide it if it was on your wrist?.. that might be tricky.

I like the tattoo Kate Moss has on her wrist but I know I'd probably grow sick of it, even if it is small. I never really liked the idea of having a tattoo but I like them on other people.
