i've done it with all my tattoos and piercings i must be incredibly clumsy come to thing of it i bumped my nose when i got my septum done and even bumped my inner elbow when i had those tattoos done.

unfortunately im planning on a half sleeve still in the thinking stage since i dont have the money yet but if i come up with the cash in the future its gona be a tad annoying.

lol I thought I was the only one who bumped my tattoos! The worst was when I clipped my freshly done (and super swollen) elbow on the edge of the door.
That and I got a really bad cold the day after I got my septum pierced, it hurt to blow my nose

How long does it generally take for a tattoo to fully heal? Say, a small one on the wrist.

depends on the size. My tattoo artist told me to go into sun or swimming pool for 3 weeks, so i guess average it takes 3 weeks..

I'm curious about the pain factor... I'm quite thin and bony and would love a tattoo on my wrist. But my wrist just looks so fragile like its about to break off and just trying to imagine getting a tattoo makes me cringe.

i have only one tattoo that i got when i was only thirteen
i don't recommend to get a tattoo when you're so young! unless you don't care about your body. I don't regret it, cause it reminds me a real good time, but if I didnt have it today i wouldn't do it, you know? I'm seventeen now waiting till I'm 18 to get new ones.

Hey for those who got tattoos this week, how did it go?

My dream tattoo would be very simple, just a delta, symbolic pf change, and an infinity symbol, symbolic of continuity, in white ink, on either side of my finger, on either inner elbow, or on either side of my chest, discreetly below my collar bone and near my shoulder
However, Ill have to wait it out for that, since my mom is terrified of me getting a tattoo. unfortunately a family member died due to an infection (which i am sure was just from carelessness and poor sanitation, but the event perverted the image of a tattoo in her mind)
